Have we had this lovely old V12 yet? Just out of a 10 year lay up (well there's a 10 year MOT gap and the seller says that it's just out of storage). Needs a set of original wheels and we're off. Rear compartment phone as well.

Following on with the BMW theme today, it seems Gerald has let himself wild on this poor 7er.

I can’t believe someone would Gerald an E38. Lower it, tint the windows, add some innit rimz but this is unprecedented! As always, what makes people stand back and look at it and go “yes, that looks better then before”

Someone with too much electrical tape it seems.

Here's a clean 735i to make everyone feel better.

Blimey, that looks to be at Derin-levels of clean.
That really does look nice. Very top money though but I think it may be worth it.

Speaking of Derin has anyone been in touch recently? I do hope he’s doing ok, missed around these parts.

Wow, the paintwork:

It's got bullets glued to the OS C pillar?

Is it me or is the rear 540 badge numbers too low on the boot on the pictures, indicating a respray at best or an accident requiring fixing and a respray.

It’s being sold by a dealer in Selly Oak. The positioning of the model designation badge is likely the least of its worries.

Talking of weird, but apparently from the factory, who knew volvo did interiors like this, which I would hope look better in real life. Above thread S80 derv so academic interest only.

Great feeling isn't it. Am I the only one who is sad enough to return to the MOT checker page a few days after, still pinching myself with joy that the bargain barge has passed another MOT with minimal fettling required?
Not at all. One got through with no advisories after some suspensions arms were done, and one had an advisory of “n/s headlamp dim” I’ll take both as a result!

The rear chrome arches are disturbing.

I think he means the shocking finish on the rear 1/4.

Do you mean you bought it? I remember seeing it a couple of days ago...if that's what you mean?

Well, yes. And maroon over magnolia is the natural choice of a man accustomed to using bullets as decorative items.

I think I'd rather have a pint with the owner of the gold Rolls-Royce than with the owner of that 7. And that's really saying something, as I'd rather have a beer with Jamie Cullum than the owner of the gold Rolls-Royce.

Aside from the manual gearbox I rather like that.

I know my MOT man well: he’s more likely to put “owner a bit dim” on the advisory list.

Everything about that is incredible. The more you look, the better it gets and just so many questions. All for just £50 spent on Aliexpress.

And the price. Surely that's twice the money.
