Couldn't decide what color I wanted so I chose a few and people seem to love it for some reason confused

Absolutely! I would definitely pay a premium for that.

The V550 looks like the clay model before they put on the wrap.

It’s Toxic Green. It has more of a gold fleck in it than Isotope.

Re the ownership. I wholeheartedly recommend this car. You won’t regret buying one if you appreciate a proper drive without all the nonsense the Germans are pumping out.

I paid £37k for mine 3 years ago abs it was a year old.
They are still changing hands for around £34k. The big aero versions are more sought after as Lotus watered the MY17.5 version aero kit down a lot.
Go for it I say. I’ve had so much fun in mine.
Yes I keep browsing and seeing the prices seem solid. I'd really like a pearl yellow car but it seems there are none. Its funny, as I never really fancied an Elise until I saw one that appeared to be a little monster like this. I don't need another car but the temptation is always there. biglaugh

You mean this colour? Liquid Yellow? There are only a couple from what I’m aware.

I do, but on the Lotus website it now only lists a pearl yellow rather than Liquid yellow for some reason!

I have a feeling it’s the same or very similar colour. The Cup pictured above is a 2015 S Cup. The colour name may have been changed by Lotus as some of their earlier premium paints were other manufacturers colours.

There is this one available, but it looks like its solid yellow rather than pearl yellow.

To be fair it looks great in most colours, but I've got a soft spot for yellow cars.

Yeah there a loads of them about. Very popular.

If you are seriously interested in ownership then make your way to the Elise Cup Owners Group on Facebook.
Good cars come up for sale on there every now and again.

The industry very much promotes the boring colours because they never date and always retail well on the used market, and most cars are now sold under 2-3 year finance deals, so the resale value is very important.

It's a bit more fun than yet another one in dark green.
Not for me it isnt. It looks awful.
