Prototypes count, right? A Dodge Caliber badged Mitsubishi Lancer intended to replace the Neon but never produced. https://www.thedrive.com/news/43871/pics-show-1-of...
They could have made a SRT badged version of the Evo

Probably brought in by the importer to evaluate and type approve. There have been quite a number of DFSK importers, so it's probably their old stock, that never went live in the market place

I must have been living under a rock for the last few months as I went into my local VW dealer the other day to poke around an ID4 (note, waiting list 1.5 years....) and found this thing staring back at me. Taigo - never even knew it existed. Been in the UK for a few months.
Wonder where these are made?I know its less important than it used to be, however a Golf out of Wolfsburg will always be more of a VW than one made in Mexico

Engineered in Brazil though, so it is one of those weird South American things - a hacked about Mk6 Polo. Shares the doors and some other body bits, interior, plus suspension.
I just found out they make a T-Roc cabriolet

Its better looking than the other rebadge job on the Lancer. This is the Proton Inspira. I have to confess I'm so sad, I dragged my wife around a branch of Toys 'R' Us in Kuching so I could buy a die cast model of one. They could have made a SRT badged version of the Evo

They also make a "T-Cross", another odd Hatchback / SUV crossover thing......but even more awkward looking due to how narrow/tall it looks.....Engineered in Brazil though, so it is one of those weird South American things - a hacked about Mk6 Polo. Shares the doors and some other body bits, interior, plus suspension.

So that's T-Cross, T-Roc and Taigo....which are all within a few cm of each other size wise.....all competing for the same 'type' of buyer......,the majority of which, round here at least, are 40+ year old women.......

Regarding the last few pages and the thread title, how/why would you know they existed? And who cares?
Utter, utter dross of the PCP white goods variety.
OK fine.....what about the Peugeot 205 GTi "1FM" edition.....Utter, utter dross of the PCP white goods variety.
I know a lot of people in 'car circles' know of it's existence, but equally many don't as they are super rare as far as special editions go (only 25 built), they rarely change hands and although mechanically nothing particularly exciting, they are quite special in many ways.
A bit of a dream car for me to be brutally honest, but then I am a big retro Peugeot fan.
