I've seen that photo before somewhere, and in an idle lockdown induced moment, spent hours looking on Google earth trying to find out where it was parked... not going mad or anything.
That shot was taken in the centre of Bedoin, it marks the start of the cycling ascent up Mont Ventoux...the plaque you can see on the wall is rather poignant...remembering the sad demise of British Cyclist Tom Simpson in 1967.
Route du Malauscene, Bedoin, France
Mexico market Nissan March (Micra). It's the 2010 model with the current front end.

I know this happens a lot in Brazil/Mexico etc, this Micra was a new one to me.

Wasn't it for testing truck or aeroplane tyres, which were actually suspended in the middle of the large rear area?Fast Bug said:

Wasn't it for testing truck or aeroplane tyres, which were actually suspended in the middle of the large rear area?Michelin built this vehicle for high-speed tests on large tyres (up to 180 km/h, 120 mph). The big drum in the middle contained the tyre being tested.
The vehicle had two Chevy V8 engines in the back, one driving the tyre being tested, the other drove the 6 rear wheels. It was called the Michelin PLR (for Poids Lourd Rapide, i.e. "fast heavy Truck"), nicknamed Mille Pattes (centipede).
It still exists, Michelin display it in their museum.
