Here is a car I have just bought that I didn’t know existed.
Renault Juvaquatre about 1955. After buying it I popped onto the Renault Owners Club at the NEC classic car show. They had never heatd of it either. Are there any others in the UK?
I consider myself a car guy (worked in the Industry for over 40 years) and had never seen one of those before.

I saw one charging at the Tesla Supercharger at ICA Maxi, Haninge, two weeks ago. There's a dealership in Segeltorp I think. The thing that struck me was the sheer size of the thing. They are MASSIVE! ajprice said:

Mrs. DG was out and about today, spotted this little beauty; The ElectraMeccanica SOLO
$15,500 for a single occupancy, limited range, tadpole trike.
Aging Wheels did a video on this that is currently down but will hopefully come back online. But there's a bit on the 2 he's got in his fleet update, 15m 15s in.$15,500 for a single occupancy, limited range, tadpole trike.

This is what this thread should have more of, not pictures of every day cars with a unfamiliar engine or trim.

I came across one to these years ago in Havana. Probably Lada-powered by then>....I consider myself a car guy (worked in the Industry for over 40 years) and had never seen one of those before.

Fancy a Citroen SM but worried that it is too common and not sufficiently complicated? No worries, Ligier made a couple of hundred JS2s in the early 70s with a mid mounted Maserati V6. They were sold through the Citroen network and the SM production eventually moved to the Ligier factory in in Abrest. It all went pear shaped when Maserati went into administration and Citroen was bought by Peugeot in 1975

No idea if its been in this thread already, but today I learnt about Ford's skunkworks V10 Mustang project of the early 2000s. Mad but cool.

While I did know about this already, it's always great to read up about it again. Truly epic.https://www.motortrend.com/news/prototype-v10-ford...
I've always loved the look of the New Edge-era Mustangs, although their interiors are ghastly.
Removing the V8 does seem so very wrong, but replacing it with a monstrous V10 seems so very right!
Those quarter mile times are still impressive a quarter of a century later!

I saw one of those once, maybe at Goodwood? Hints of the Monica here but some aspects of the JS 2 - bonnet slats especially has triggered me , in the modern sense . I'm traumatised. Because I now have un-erased the Marcos Mantis from my memory - the car which is not so much jolie laide as plain laide. If it is any comfort , they do look a lot better in the flesh . Well, a bit maybe ...
