Behold (seeing as the PH writing staff finally got bored with the word), the Rayton-Fissore Magnum, aka LaForza in the USA which I've shamelessly nabbed from Reddit

Intended to be an Italian rival to the Range Rover, designed by Pininfarina (although doubt they'll have a picture of it hanging up in their reception next to one of the Testarossa) and was based on a heady combination of an Iveco miltary vehicle platform with van suspension.

To my eyes also looks strikingly like a Fiat Uno that's parked further from the camera than you think it is, particularly from the back

I remember a review of these in Car magazine when they first came out, they looked a lot more resolved and luxurious at the time.

Like many European vehicles I’m not sure it’s travelled across the Atlantic very well.

Are they going to grout those shut lines? You could change the plugs without needing to open the bonnet!!

RS Mégane Break, sadly didn't make it into production. Would seem to have been a natural rival to the Focus ST estate.

OK a bit niche perhaps but I never realised you could order a 993 with a 3.8 from the factory. 300bhp, and not the RS motor.

1 of 4 ever made according to the ad although that may be in RHD as I've done a bit of digging and they were more popular in Germany. Probably too close to the Turbo in price when new for many people to tick the box.

Up for £135k which is Turbo money...

Not sure if either of these have reached the shores Angleterre yet. Excuse pictures, taken on cheapo phone.

Nio ES6

The salesman made some fairly bold claims; however, I put that down naivety, rather than intentional deception.

Infiniti Q60 3.0V6 TT, 399bhp,4wd and only £190 VED!
Didn't know this was a thing until today, I recently bought a sensible Q30 1.5d, but wish i'd known this beast existed! Thiink i'll keep the Q30 for a couple of years and keep eye on these.

I was on a work trip to somewhere near Bristol and idly bored with nothing to do one afternoon, dropped into an Infiniti showroom to have a look round. The nice gentleman there offered me a drive in one. It was fast but felt weird. It seemed futuristic then (2017/18ish) but probably seems very dated now.

I wonder whether any Chinese citizen is now employed in doing anything apart from making EVs . And what were they all doing before ?

A niche you didn't know existed, "the world’s first all wheel drive crossover convertible"

2 door Murano CrossCabriolet with weird rear skylight.....

What a heinous creation, and that's coming from a former Murano driver!

Assuming the same underpinnings as the hardtop, the CVT gearbox would ruin any chance of enjoying the sound of the engine, the handling was boaty in a hardtop so with the roof cut off must be atrocious, and it's a similar size to a Range Rover so I bet getting those doors opened wide enough to access the rear seats in an average-sized parking space would be a challenge!

It's styled a bit like my Corgi Le Dandy Coupe from the late 60's
