My wife’s car after a 30 mile motorway round trip to work and back....

Then after a quick snow foam and hand wash...

160 miles round trip to get my lower ball joints changed, took some snowy country lanes for fun, my first photo entry into this thread (or any of the previous years)

Ok so despite the amount of salt around currently, and driving 1000 miles this week on motorways, my van is still no dirtier than it was? What is this which craft? I constantly see other transits with black rear ends

7 weeks and 900 miles old and never cleaned,
other than the odd blast through deep puddles biggrin

Not so much dirty but a thick layer of salt. Have only driven about 200 miles since New Year. Will probably leave another few weeks and give it a good clean when I'm putting the summer tyres back on, the rain should do a good job of keeping it reasonable until then.

This was one 50 mile round trip to Glasgow today. Filled it with fuel twice since last March spin

I dont get the chance to participate very much in this thread, as despite living in in the middle of nowhere with muddy roads, I have a father who is neurotic about dirty cars and disappears out to clean it at about 8am most weekends without being asked or indeed me wanting him to....

However, I've been out this weekend so let me participate with a week's worth of commuting grime:

I've put about 22,000 miles on my V50 this past year and about 10,000 miles on the XC70 and the latter has been washed once, by my father in law armed with only a garden hose... the V50 hasn't been touched. Disappointingly, they both appear to be so disgusted with my lack of care that they've taken to self cleaning now as both look surprisingly clean at the moment.

My old GTI.

Resisting cleaning this until the weekend took all of my willpower.

No, far too young! But I'm part of the team rescuing ZE360 from Manston for restoration, so I got given a sticker by a fellow team member who's in the 74SQ Association smile

Excellent. I am also a member of BPAG but only in a financial capacity not a lost skin and cold feet warrior like you chaps.

Keep up the good work!

I know it's off topic but any chance of a translation for "normal" people?
