I am glad to see you're all doing your bit to keep muck off the roads and my car- when its dry!

Are there any particular road conditions types of road that help these cars get dirty this way?

I know the shape of the car has a lot to do with it.

What about speed? I'd imagine motorways

For me it's having a touring (it all sprays up the back end) and local country roads...

It affects any car with a steeply raked tailgate, so any estate car and most modern hatchbacks.

The first car I remember owning on which it was bad enough to be an annoyance was a mk4 Golf.

I do love a 370Z Nismo! cool

I hate washing cars at this time of year(it seems a bit of a waste of time). I'd have to wash that though because it is well dirty! thumbup

Damp conditions after the gritters have been out, if it rains the dirt washes off but damp grit seems to stick like anything.

The mineral grey hides it well and the ceramic coating makes it that bit harder for dirt to stick...

400 miles on the clock so far. Disappointed with my Mrs for having the RR washed, had a good weekend towing to and from snetterton and it was properly grimey.
