Why do people think the e-type is one of the best looking cars. Ask anyone aged 40 and below and most will tell you how st an e-type looks. Most if not all classic cars look st.
I'm aged 40 or below and I think modern Ferraris are mostly vile looking things and the e-Type is lovely. In fact if I had to compile a list of the best looking 50 cars ever made, I don't think it would contain any which are younger than me.
E-Type looks ugly and old....

A certain Enzo Ferrari quite liked it but what did he know ?

In charge of the Scuderia from launch to his death , when all the beautiful cars were produced .

just a few examples .

I'm with you on a lot of that. 16M is my favourite of them all.

Never been a fan of the F40. Hideous thing.
Weirdo.
To be fair to him, the F40 is not beautiful in an elegant way. It's just an iconic car and a amazing design just works.

Think I’m on my own here but having seen both in the metal I think the SF90 and F8 Tributo are great looking cars, I’d have both if I had a euromillions win.
Love the F8 Tributo. Test drove one at the beginning on the month. It’s very colour sensitive in my opinion. I liked the blue one I had.

Not saying its uggly but certainly doesn't look like a Ferrari, very Mclaren in fact, neither appeal visually really, aerodynamic cars dont to my mind.

Wind tunnel cars aren’t the most pleasing, as humans we subconsciously desire shapes similar to the opposite sex, shapely (or whatever you find sexy in a partner)

Most new ones do nothing for me, love the 250 GTO etc.

Last 30 years or so though only a few have appealed.

The 612 was lovely...

As was the 550..

As is the FF and the GT4 Lusso...

And I do like the Roma, shame about the grille, but in the right colour it looks great.
I find all of those really quite ugly ! , last nice one was the 355 to my eyes

I know this was meant to be about Ferraris, but the Series 1 E Type is a thing of beauty, whether roadster or coupe, later V12s looked too bulbous.

Not necessarily age related, either of me, or the cars

Off the top of my balding head I like 250 GTO, Dino, Daytona, 288 GTO, old and new Testarossa (first Ferrari I ever saw/rode in), 550, F40 still the ultimate for me, and Enzo is different league, and I don't particularly like Mondial, F50, La Ferrari, or FF.

Modern Ferraris......meh, the blue one posted on the previous page could be a McLaren, no idea what it is. not really interested.

Personally I don’t think it looks anything like a McLaren. The evolution from the 458 is clearly there.

I've just spent the last 25 minutes or so reading through all 5 pages of this thread and not being a Ferrari aficionado, I will say there are many Ferraris that I thought quite beautiful including most of those made in the 1960s, the 308/328 series, the GTO, and even some of the modern day ones though I think the new ones don't have the grace and sensuality of the older models. In any event, even the worst Ferrari is better looking than anything Lamborghini has made since the Miura. Lambo puts so much "gingerbread" on their cars in the way of plastic/vinyl add on pieces that you no longer look at the design language of the body, they're so overloaded with "boy racer" pieces. When I went looking for a supercar about 20 years ago, as in any car that I own, the aesthetics are of paramount importance. After all, I have to look at it everyday, and I couldn't look at an ugly car for the sake of going a little faster on the track. Ultimately, I ended up with the car pictured below. Fifty years after its "birth" it still looks fresh (to me) and contemporary and even when parked next to a current Ferrari doesn't look out of place (see below). But in general, I like Ferrari design aesthetics, and especially like models like the 512bbi.

That looks lovely. Shows to me how tastes change with age. When I was young I preferred the later versions of the Pantera with the big arches and wings but now that looks so much better.

I still love the look of the 365 Boxer (in the same colour scheme ie red and black).

To be honest I agree with galtezza, it looks more like a Mclaren than a Ferrari.

That really does you credit -Panteras . along with Jensens , Isos and Gordon Keebles (a favourite) are the original and best form of hybrid . (younger readers - this meant .European style and Detroit muscle ) . At university in Leeds in the Seventies , I'd often see local playboy and racer Chris Mee's yellow Pantera, as often as not with some page 3 quality stunner in the passenger seat .

I'm glad it's not just me. The 550/575 Maranello are the best looking Ferraris to me.

I always thought La Ferrari was hideous. I'm sure it's a world away from most other things on the planet when you drive it but it's no looker.
