Why have they all gone to the event in their pyjamas? Have they spent all their money on their cars and have nothing left over for actual clothes? And that swearing! Someone needs to set that to music...

Must be heartbreaking for those that have spent the last 18 years building this event up around their passion only to have these little twonks turn up and drag their reputation into the gutter in a heartbeat

"vmax200 Like so many of you who attended our event today and for those who watched on social media, we were disgusted by the disturbance caused by a small minority of people at today’s event. We will not tolerate such behaviour and will provide full support to the authorities to enable them to identify and deal with the perpetrators. Vmax200 has been a friendly, good-spirited event for real car enthusiasts for over 18 years. We will ensure those who caused problems today will never return as we do not want them as part of our Vmax200 family. Thank you for the patience of those who came to enjoy their day on the runway and who were impacted by the minority few, and we were grateful for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you in 2021 when we will be making changes to ensure our events are only attended by people who come as friends to enjoy their day. Thank you all for your messages of support this evening."

That is a very poor statement - not sure who cleared that on the VMAX side, but it reflects very poorly on them.

The first thing they should be making clear is a strong apology for letting in somebody who they have already banned (assuming on the basis they had intel to say there would be potential for disorder). If VMAX had the required level of security in place on entry, the day wouldn't be ruined for all the genuine people attending.

DMO & LLF have been having an on going spat, from the footage it looks like DMO goes up to Ricky punches get thrown (for me no issue if you see someone you really don't get on with sometimes things will happen) what I don't agree with is DMO's mate jumping in to make it a 2on1 situation.

For me there'd have been an even bigger punch up if it had been my car they'd been falling all over wink

Honestly surprised they showed so little respect for the cars there considering they are car enthusiasts.

As soon as the first fight occured I would've been out of the event. Surprised the event organisers never forcefully removed those involved... Shows a lack of security for such a high value event.

You seem to have a bit of a warped sense of what's acceptable or not. No problems with assaulting someone because you've been arguing with them on Youtube and ran into them at a car event, "oh well it happens".

Then the whole 2v1 one thing... if you attack someone in a public place (whether its retaliation from an earlier incident(s) or not) then you should fully expect their friends to join in. Its no joke fighting on pavements/roads... fall the wrong way and you might end dead. I would have said you might have ended up with brain damage but it appears that all of the participants arrived at the venue with that in place already biggrin

Tell me where I said it was acceptable? What I said was sometimes you end up in a situation where you have to fight or flight. In that situation I would've taken Ricky's decision to (with a lot more accuracy wink ) fight.

You say I have a warped sense of what's acceptable but a 2on1 is okay? The 2on1 was from those attacking LLF.

We saw a group of rogues at the gymkhana who we were not best pals with. One of them had gone out with an ex of my friend Terrance. Anyway after a bleary afternoon of Pimms and horsey banter, we bumped into them just before the meet and great with Detori. Anyway Clarence said to one of them ‘Now look here young scaly- I’ve a right mind to bop you on the nose but I won’t as it won’t get us anywhere. But be warned!’

We walked away with dignity and respect.

Why couldn’t these fellows have followed our lead.

I would say "for me no issue if you see someone you really don't get on with sometimes things will happen" would kinda point to you saying its acceptable?

These guys are fully grown adults with jobs, businesses etc, if they don't like each other then that's cool. It doesn't need to descend into an actual playground fight in a car park biggrin

In one of the videos the guy gets out the blue BMW and punches someone in the face. At that point for me its 100% acceptable for the victims friend to join in.

If I was watching and my friend got punched in the face I wouldn't be thinking "lets watch this and see who's the best fighter" I'd be thinking lets both fill him in so that neither of us end up seriously injured.

They should have all stayed home today and watched UFC 254, it was on in the Middle East so it was a 5pm kick off rather than the usual 3am. Maybe they'd have a learned something biggrin
