Very wealthy?

I doubt that, given that one of the throbbers couldn't even raise the cash himself to pay off the finance on a car he modified without permission.

Quite, the agency where I work is heavily staffed by Europeans many(but thankfully not all) with poor English (spoken and written) skills which makes life hard when writing reports and dealing with rural punters on the phone. But the pay and other aspects of the job isn't attractive to many of their British counterparts so that's what we get.

Some have a very poor work ethic too. Plus they have limited knowledge or interest in the industry we cover.

I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't have the money to pay their finance deal up on an M4 in full after only being a few months into the agreement, but then most wouldn't post that they were modding it on Youtube.

I think you’ll find he did.

I think both need to grow up.

Ricky needs to distance himself from that st asap and do his own thing.

Dm0 is a proper bell! The way he behaves while having a wife and a child is ridiculous.

It's weird how dmo had had thousands of extra followers and Ricky has had nothing.

I think we can see who's coming out of this better in regards to YouTube cred.

This happened the last time dmo faked the beef and made noise over it and received st loads of views and followers so I wonder how planned out this jumping of llf was.. for you know, more cred.

Dmo is literally a drama channel. I used to sub and watch him as I like Honda's and cars he had on but the past few months he's lost it.

I'm not going to click on a YT link and give the walloper another view, but my understanding is that someone else raised the cash for him to pay it off.

I'm surprised you haven't coming from aero. The whole science of Human Factors (aka Ergonomics... Aka engineering psychology) was born out of the need to stop pilots crashing.

You must have heard of boeing's Dirty Dozen if you're aero. All based on engineering psychology.

Human Factors examples from you area.

Airbus stick design. Neither pilot can see the other pilots stick. Handing back control without enough time to regain situational awareness... Air France crash.

Flight 32 Aussie Airline. Holed wing due to turbine disc disintegration. Procedure pops up saying trim aircraft. Result was very nearly lost aircraft

Kegworth - poor cockpit ergonomics. Switched off bad engine.

The concept of crew resource management - based on psychology principles.

The whole concept of glass cockpits - US regulator has big safety concerns.

Most accidents are down to human error - understanding why is psychology.

ETA... apologies... Took this WAAY off topic.

Ah, it's down to the definition of psychology then... We engineer around Human Factors, I've never seen it called Engineering psychology before. Might be the same for the other chap. Different industries often have different terminology.

I should say my branch didn't concern self-loading cargo but if it had done I could imagine passenger panic during an incident is definitely an area where human factors take psychology into account, but that would be a subset of what I know as human factors rather than something that non-HF engineers would take a strong interest in.

he changed his profile to private, so you had to follow him if you wanted any more updates. Its not a smart move long term but it will force a short term spike.

Speaking as a (former) Aerospace Engineer... can you give some examples?

I can think of plenty of engineering mess-ups, and I can think of a number where adequate consideration wasn't given to the meatbag, but none which are psychological. Doesn't mean there aren't any, but I can't think of any.

I can think of "suicide by" examples, but I wouldn't say a suicidal pilot flying into a mountain is an engineering mess-up. A plane that automatically inverts the control stick output when someone's mood changes... to me that would be a psychological engineering f**k up.

ETA not disagreeing with you - just interested as to what a psychology-related engineering fault could be. Every day's a school day biggrin
OK you have Chernobyl, where the blokes were just testing it out & the thing went a bit off piste
Then there's the wild fires in Australia
And finally, my wife hit a central bollard and damaged a tire in her Range Rover 3 years ago
As above... I think this might be an issue of different terminology for the same concepts.

Ah that explains it! And adds some credibility to my opinion that he did it for the "fame"

The bumper/splitter was already broken and it was a “look at this” kind of thing (I guess mocking the workmanship as it was a rival). Seen a post about that. It does look that way too if you see the vid carefully.

Still a silly thing to do but a world away from the “someone going around smashing up cars” rubbish that was floating about yesterday.
Don't touch other peoples stuff.

It's not fking hard.

You pretty much nailed it - DMO is about the drama...and humans are attracted to drama.

If you followed the fabian story there were opportune moments he could have really gone for him, but instead chose to film confrontations with subliminal intimidation. This provides interesting content and keeps him away from the law. I have no doubt when required he likes to service his own "justice" but that will be done with the cameras turned off.

I'm pretty sure when he approached Ricky yesterday, it was to goad him... (or gassing) and capture it on film, but when Ricky laid the first punch on DMO that changed everything.

And to think this all started because of the american guy in the brown jacket, the one DMO drags in one of the videos, making a comment on one of his posts.

Personally think this was all initiated by Evolve to bring in more publicity for the company and the build of his M5, more 'clout' as they would say, which has terribly backfired. It's the same process other youtubers use as well, e.g. TGE did the same with a couple of other youtubers and is now doing it with JWW, but he has only resorted to making petty digs so far.

Yes... that clip if you can find it is how this all started over a month ago.

Raza from https://www.rkautowerks.com/ in collaboration with Evolve has been performing the engine mods on the M5. Raza left a few tongue & cheek tweets at DMO/Wrench about the E63 performance figures, and DMO pretty much exploded.

In the clip, you can see DMO dragging Raza yelling "have you got energy??"... Raza retreats. Raza turned up at vmax to support the M5 build.

I just don’t understand it, both DMO and Ricky are living a dream life, being paid well to drive nice cars independently without having a boss. Both are successful and they end up fighting like that.

I never followed DMO as I think he’s a bit too much for me, I’m a fan of Ricky though and have followed him for a while. I genuinely think guys like the one in the grey tracksuit windmilling should be put down as they are a massive danger to society and have no self control and could very well end up killing somebody. Either put down or put in prison forever as that mindset can never change, swinging that hard uncontrollably for that long because of a battle between a BMW and Mercedes?! You’d think Ricky had raped his sister or beaten his mother up. A friend of a friend got beaten to near death and has been in a coma for a month now in Sheffield, I imagine that’s what would have happened to Ricky if there weren’t a lot of people around.

I think Ricky can hold his head up high and I don’t think he’s embarrassed as 3 men approached him in his car, he got out, acted first then got beaten up, you could be Mohammed, I’m Ard Bruce Lee and you’d still get beaten up if 3 men are charging towards you on a wet field.

I was going to say I hope Ricky doesn’t lose followers/subscribers over this but then I remembered I’m stuck with a diesel C class he’s got a GTR, 1000 bhp M5 and a Charger Hellcat, he’ll be okay hehe

They shouldn't be paid for anything, they're just a couple of inner city chav scum.
Some need to open their eyes and see these tts for what they are, total arse wipes..
