SSC Tuatara Top Speed run apparently faked?

Pretty Damning evidence that SSC faked the recent 330mph top speed run!
Follow the below link and you'll see the SSC versus the much slower Agera RS, both used the same road. Some guy has noticed that between the same 2 points the Agera arrives at the next intersection way ahead of the SSC despite apparently travelling much much slower. Very suspect.....

Because the top one in the SSC is overexposed and filmed on a potato. The branches on the Cacti are identical, do you know the mathematical improbability of that happening in 2 seperate plants? Plus the sign in the centre of the road. How are they supposed to have fooled the certified GPS tracker and fooled the on-site witnesses?

The Guinness Book of World Records have clarified that they were not involved with this run by SSC in any way, they don't recognise it. Also I saw elsewhere that the GPS tracker they used can measure speeds to hundredths but theyve posted their speed logs to the thousandths of a second. This gets more and more suspect.Per the regulations:

Not sure what you mean about different Cacti heights? Cameras are at different heights and angles, go a bit further back and you can see actually 3 different Cacti confirming its the same road. I'm really not too sure what you are disputing tbh.

That’s just standard text they send out to clarify their position. The way it works is that you submit your evidence and they then validate it and if happy they confirm you’ve taken the record.Edited by -Z- on Saturday 24th October 23:51

Orrrrrr its a desperate attempt at publicity by a tiny company with a car stuck in development hell for a decade running out of money.....Anyhoo people cleverer than me have been doing their own analysis and found the SSC to be doing only 240mph. This is based on you know, maths and stuff, rather than shouting 'it had (invisible) a Racelogic box so it must be real!'

Never mind conspiracy theories and smoking cacti, I can see what's happened here - they accidentally changed the speedo from mph to kmph and didn't notice (most Americans being only dimly aware of the metric system). I did the same in my Yaris once and it did confuse me for a brief time.
I can’t help thinking that waiting for Guinness to officially verify (or not) the record attempt is the way to go. They don’t muck about with the high profile records in particular, that would really damage trust in the records system.
If they’re proven to have faked it then that’s pretty much death for their brand, but stupider things have happened.
