Think so. X3M Competition with a Dragy verified 3.3 sec to 60mph.

Depends how we are judging speed though as I reckon the 992 911 C2S up the road would be MUCH faster round the twisties but I'd take him from the lights.
Is that standard (i.e. are they a fair bit quicker than BMW claim)?
Those things are rapid, even by daft SUV standards, they arent massive like an SVR/Cayenne but have 510 odd bhp but tend to make more, seen loads of 0-60 runs in the threes and they will go as fast as 3.3 in the right conditions, wonder what they can managed once tuned ? Thats the new M3 engine so shows how rapid that will be.

Cars have got a bit mental nowadays.

Would've thought most cars can do 70 these days?

I do, by quite some considerable margin I suspect although that's as much to do with the competition as much as it is my car. I'm also the youngest on our street by quite a margin which I suspect also has quite a lot to do with it, even though I'm not exactly a spring chicken sadly.

Probably, although there is a Doom Blue Golf R (or at least a lookalike) around the corner. That will be comparable off the line, but for outright pace no way.

Yes (Megane RS250). The only thing vaguely interesting on my estate is a new ish Focus ST.

Although said Focus owner has a mate who regularly comes round in a Megane RS275.

My road is populated mostly by mundane hatchbacks, MPVs and vans. Looking out the window, I think my 22-year-old Peugeot is the second-fastest car I can see which is quite surprising!

EDIT: Make that the fastest! A quick reg check shows that the Arteon over the road has a puny engine (despite being an R-Line) and is slower than my leggy old 306! I must assert my authority by informing the owner immediately.

Fastest car? No. Vehicle that accelerates the quickest? Possibly (Tuono Factory) long road and lots of garages so not sure what people own.

Despite living in a reasonably nice close of around 25 detached bungalows and houses, there really isn't much in the way of decent cars here, so my Superb 280 probably is the fastest.

The slowest used to be my neighbour's old Austin 7, but he moved a couple of years ago, so that honour now falls to the old boy 3 doors up, with his beige Renault 5.

I have a Tesla Model S next door, a Ferrari 458 a few doors up, and a McLaren 720S somewhere down the street, along with many iterations of 911, M Division Bimmers, Audi RS’s and AMG Mercs. My poor little Clio doesn’t stand a chance.

But I hold the Strava segment KOM going down so I win (in my tiny mind).

Fastest cars on street by a huge margin (670 & 507bhp).

Wouldn’t surprise me if fastest cars in our small village as most residents are OAPs with Skoda Yetis. There could be something tucked away, but nothing exciting to my knowledge.
I assume that one or both of your cars have had some work done on the engines; which is which?
The M6 is stock 507bhp
The CL is tuned 670bhp

Yes, out of the seven houses in our hamlet I probably out power all of them combined, mind you I'm up against some tiny hyundais and a couple of dreadful Peugeot car-van things.

Private road, neighbours are 1/4 mile away in the village itself. Various quick cars Inc a porker but even my tuned 126 would cover the subject, marginally quicker than the groundsmans Massey Ferguson 4X4..

Unashamedly yes. We have the top 3 fastest. Conti GT, Porsche Boxster and Mini Cooper S next fastest is my neighbours Evoque, however, the farmers wife in her L200 is definitely the quickest down the lane.

Second here, would have been first by a decent margin if it wasn't for a very modded looking Focus ST lurking outside literally the last house on the street.
