Have done for 15 years, Subaru WRX. Not too much competition except an old Golf GTi.

Now the guy with the R32 Skyline racecar built by a renowned Japanese builder for a domestic Skyline series and imported from Japan has moved, yes. biggrin

I have the slowest with a 2cv and probably the most expensive with the RRS but there’s a geezer a few doors down who’s got the fastest, one of those things with a motorbike engine in it. Sounds epic when he fires it up!

Think I possibly have the three fastest cars on the street, there isn't much competition.

No. Not by a long way.

There’s an MK Indy, Nova rally car with 226bhp and sequential box, 991.2 GT3, Impreza CS400, tuned MK1 focus RS, Sherwood BDG engined MK2 escort rally car, red top Nova and 2 white transit vans. There is also a 600+bhp cosworth engined rallycross fiesta that could be considered as being on my road.

I do have a track bike though which would likely beat them all in a drag race(except the fiesta) if I had the talent to be able to launch it off the line!

I am literally the poorest person on this road.laugh

Pretty sure that Yvonne who lives over the road has a 200 shot of Nitros in that Honda Jazz of hers. She looks like the sort that lives her life a quarter of a mile at a time. If not, then I'd say yes, probably.

I've got the quickest bike by far. To be fair, I'm the only one with a motorbike but a wins a win..

My neighbours have an E46 M3, a 997 C2, and a Merc CL55.

Along with my Maserati GS I think we could stage a pretty competitive period (c.2005) racing series.

Maybe.

Of the 12 properties on our road, it's close between my 9-3 Aero and next door's Octavia vRS (MY19)

Living in a close of retirees and young families, there’s not much competition from things like T4 TDIs, a Disco 2, 1.4 Fiesta and a camper van. So yes!

No, the lad at the end of the road has a golf R. It’s pretty rapid and he seems to have exemption from the 20mph limit that the rest of us on the road have to abide by. It accelerates between the speed humps faster than anything I’ve seen. Thankfully he is at work during the hours the two schools on the road are open.

Hardly anyone on my road has anything decent. A guy I shoot with who is in his seventies has an M5 Comp which I always think is cool but almost everyone else is in really dull stuff which surprises me as the road is all large detached houses. My M340i is therefore almost the quicker. My old Range Rover is the noisiest though, especially at the moment....

Growing up in the countryside I wasn't aware this was a thing

When I went to Uni I used my Grant to buy and sell a few cars and ended up with a Starion Turbo 170bhp.

I was living in a student dive and saw a few kids around it and watched as one spat on the bonnet but then pulled his sleeve down to "polish it" I went out to enquire what was going on

Apparently in 1990, my Starion was the fastest car on the estate which conveyed prestige onto the entire road laugh
