Do you have the fastest car on your road/street?
Discussion
Not a chance, the cars change all the time here being in centralish London.
Three 911's of various guises parked in a row next to each other, one is a Turbo.
A couple of V8 Range Rovers.
AMG 63S is a permanent feature
Quite often a GT3/M3 is seen on the street (not sure if visiting) or temporary parking before moving to secure.
A Ferrari F8 was here for a few days a month ago.
My 12 year old 911 barely get's noticed (fine by me) , but still surrounded by all the usual hatch backs and micro cars. Standard London fare.

We're on a country road so fairly long with some interesting houses and cars and I definitely dont have the fastest.
It's taken me 12 years of nosing, chatting stopping and asking to find out that there are at least the following:-
DB11 and DBX
Reanult Alpine GTA
2 Sunbeam Alpines 1964 and 1967 (owned by the same guy)
My E92 M3 and M Roadster
Senna and 720s (not at the same time)
MK1 Escort RS2000 (owned from new)
Tesla Model S
Tesla Model X
I'm sure ther's more to be discovered....

In the last house, I was definitely the winner.
But in the new place, there is one neighbour around the corner who seems to always have something special on his driveway.
I have never seen it as a competition and generally buy cars based on how they make me feel when I drive, rather than what other people own.

Yes, with Mk3 TT RS. Although I think I have a few neighbours that wouldn't know/believe it - one with a 996 Carerra 4S, and on with a 135i that I both think would believe are quicker... but they're not!
You need to give Ian at Area Six Developments a call if you want to absolutely destroy the competition.I actually suspect I am. There's a Cooper S that might give me a run for my money as my cars aren't particularly fast and that's the only noteworthy car on my road. I suspect my Transit Sport would make the podium on my street, put it that way.
There's a few posers, a CLA 180 driven by a youth, a 318i that seems to come and go and a rather nice looking Laguna coupe but it has the dismal clatter of a diesel under the bonnet.

I have the double crown of both the fastest and the slowest car. 383 SBC Dax cobra kit car and..... k11 micra
Probably have all sorts of top trump wins, highest single car BHP, highest collective driveway BHP, highrst single car displacement, highest collective driveway displacement, highest single car and total number of cylinders, lowest car (ground clearance) lowest car (overall height), loudest car, I also have a pulsar gtir so I'm only house to have fwd, 4wd and rwd
Also got widest tyres (285 cobra rear) and narrowest tyres (155 micra)
Micra wins oldest car in my street and next 2 streets with 96 P reg.
Closest competition for fastest is probably really nice 330ci just down the next street

I did, but then a neighbour went and bought a Ferrari FF recently. Git. I want that car - gorgeous.
I live in London, but not in a prime area, so whilst there are some nice cars about, it's not as common to see a line of 911s and Astons parked along the road as it is a couple of miles away in, say, Clapham.

Not even close
488, M5 Comp, new Quattroporte, Gallardo, ML63 and a few other random bits.
I do get compensashun in the form of noise though
A new neighbour has just moved in with a C63 and an old classic Mustang (not fast, but pretty cool).488, M5 Comp, new Quattroporte, Gallardo, ML63 and a few other random bits.

This thread gives a whole new meaning to keeping up with the Joneses (literally).
