Do you have the fastest car on your road/street?
Discussion
I live in a cul-de-sac and my 140i is definitely the fastest car, however I feel it's a bit of a hollow victory as it's clear no one else is remotely interested in cars nearby
The closest I think is either a XC60 T8 or an old Conti GT, everything else is primarily Kia hybrid / Fiesta type jazz.

Sadly, I think I might!
Though it occurs to me I'm not sure which of ours is quickest - the Disco Sport has 150 bhp and the MINI has 115 bhp. LR heavier but manual, MINI lighter but CVT. I doubt there's much in it.
Pretty much everyone else in the cul-de-sac are retired folk.
Working clockwise;
Note/Picasso
'New' Beetle
2 x Kia C'eed - it occurs to me those might have more poke than I give them credit for as they actually sound quite fruity.
C3 Picasso
Mk5 Fiesta - could be 1.25 or 1.4, not sure
Us
Kia something or other
Polo 1.2 or 1.4
I've skipped the house that is now owned by a care outfit, though one of the carers does throw a spanner in the works when he's on shift as he has a 65-reg R35 GTR.

Hmm no, there is a Porsche 911 (991) tucked in a garage that doesn't come out very often,
There is a very fast Westfield, but thats apparently now at a relatives house so doesn't count.
Oh and a 2018 Boxster, dont think its an S, so in a straight line mine should be a bit quicker, but you never know, round corners, err no.

That'll be a yes from Me
Only 3 houses & the fella next door has a fairly clapped out X3 2.0D & his current muse drives an Evoque which looks like a low rent variant.
The other neighbour has a brand new X3 30E Hybrid thingy which although a looker of a motor, i can't imagine would worry my beast The Husband has a Vauxhall van of some description (Transit size) & their eldest son drives an old Diesel Polo.
My Beast is the pinnacle of performance, that being a Lease spec Golf 7.5R Estate. That said, she's had some significant 'enhancements' so will likely retain the crown for a while.
Should either neighbour go out of character & acquire something more exotic, i'd just wheel under used Fireblade out to quash any such competitive antics.

Pondered the same question recently. I think I’m probably top 5 in our street with my D3. Current winner is definitely a neighbours GTR which is cool. That family also has a scooby WRX, but no idea how quick they are these days.
Mate has a M140, then there is a new M135, another mate has a diesel XJ,and my Wife’s GTI, and then my B3S.
Slowest is probably my wife Figaro, but that’s probably the highest car for smiles per mile 😊

Think so. X3M Competition with a Dragy verified 3.3 sec to 60mph.
Depends how we are judging speed though as I reckon the 992 911 C2S up the road would be MUCH faster round the twisties but I'd take him from the lights.
Jesus didn’t know the x3m were that fast! I’d like one for a daily/dog carrying how do you find it? Depends how we are judging speed though as I reckon the 992 911 C2S up the road would be MUCH faster round the twisties but I'd take him from the lights.
Yup - my little M140 is faster than anything else out of the 23 houses on our cul-de-sac.
After mine the next quick cars are - Macan (diesel), F30 330d and an FN2 CTR.
The rest are all fairly standard stuff - Countryman E, Octavia, CX-5, A200d, Sportage, Fiat 500's etc.
