Probably not because......

1....It's an 1100cc FIAT
2......There's a supercar dealer 400 metres away .
3..... The road is about 20 miles long , no idea what other cars live on it.

I do own the mintiest .

Our road has a few houses dotted along it and a couple of farms. As such, most stuff comes in the shape of either an old pick up truck or a tractor. There is one house with a 2019 X5, I couldn’t tell you anything about it other than it’s large and blue. If I had to guess, I would have thought it’s the fastest vehicle around here, although it’s a bit academic when the road is generally 10mph max in places.

I reckon I might sneak into the top 5 with my i30N. Just.

Bloke up the road has an oldish, but probably still very quick, Quattroporte and a Coupe GT (no idea why he wants two when they barely fit on his drive but there you are).

Few doors down from him has an XK8 convertible.

Young lad down the road has a 2008 Civic Type R and my wife has a 2012 Leon Cupra R.

Can't think of anything else which is really powerful. We're a road and not a cul-de-sac though.

There’s a bloke with a 488, so I think I can only claim second fastest.

Mine has a bigger engine at 5.4l, has 16 spark plugs and makes more noise though...

I live in a terrace street of 60 houses, can someone show me where the council thread is!

Not many nice cars used to be a 370z and a vantage but they have gone!

There is an old turbo imprezza up the road, looks tatty but its quicker than my 170bhp Alfa Guilietta, a guy a few doors up has just bought a new 500 abarth guess that would be very close due to it being about 150bhp and far lighter.

Worthy appearances - alfa mito in a nice deep blue, and a lovley blue e class w124 (1980's) thats really well cared for!

Odd car of the road - a brand new 70 plate Land cruiser that is far to wide for the parking space, nice car for what it is though!

Most certainly not. I live on the High Street of the village, off of which there is a significant number of very large properties, so my M4 Comp is comfortable belittled by a selection of Ferraris, McLarens, top-end 911s, AMGs, etc, etc.

I'm either joint fastest or joint 2nd fastest. Not alot of competition in our street tbf but another guy has a near identical abarth, there is however a Saab 9-3 which sounds like it has an after market turbo so perhaps he is quicker

The car park for my block of flats services about 24 flats.

There is nothing in the car park with more than 150 bhp..

My Corvette beats them all handily.

Not surprising really, when the flats are each worth less than a 10 year old Ferrari.

I don't know & have no interest in knowing.
As my car is dark metallic grey it just as a boring colour as at least half the cars in the street. A metallic orange Ateca is probably the most colourful.

There's no competition here, I reckon even my Micra diesel is the fastest.

I reckon that I have one of the quickest with my 370Z. The only two cars that I've seen that are quicker are an Audi S4 and a Porsche Boxster S. There used to be a F10 M5 that used to live around the corner so that would've been top dog then.

The A413 is quite along road and goes through quite a few towns and villages so i am sure there are a fair few cars faster than mine.

Having said that, I think mine probably is the quickest in our little bit of it.

There are definitely a few quicker things tucked away down some of the side roads though ...

Hmmm. If a 991 C2S is quicker than a 911 2.7RS, then yes. But if you go one door beyond our 6 houses there's a McSenna, which I suspect trumps pretty much anything!

Fastest cars on street by a huge margin (670 & 507bhp).

Wouldn’t surprise me if fastest cars in our small village as most residents are OAPs with Skoda Yetis. There could be something tucked away, but nothing exciting to my knowledge.
I assume that one or both of your cars have had some work done on the engines; which is which?

Think so. X3M Competition with a Dragy verified 3.3 sec to 60mph.

Depends how we are judging speed though as I reckon the 992 911 C2S up the road would be MUCH faster round the twisties but I'd take him from the lights.
Is that standard (i.e. are they a fair bit quicker than BMW claim)?

I do yes but there's not much competition. I live in a converted bungalow so a lot of the residents are older and not fussed about cars. Also decent transport links so quiet a few don't own cars.

Only one that's comparable is a chap at the end of the road who has a supercharged Jag which is very nice. Think it's around the 450bhp so fairly comparable to my CLS63. Even in surrounding roads there's not really any particularly interesting motors or performance ones.

There is a chap across the courtyard who turns up in various different cars as he owns a dealership and I assume he uses stock as his personal cars before they are sold on. The punchiest is a new-ish M6, but the A45 AMG I've seen a few times is probably the next fastest.

Aside from him a quick glance out of the window shows a golf+, Prius and a Mazda 3, all around 10 years old. These are complemented by other similarly unremarkable vehicles from time to time.

among this second cohort of vehicles, mine is by far and away the... slowest. Being as it is, an 18 year old Peugeot 206. It is at least the quicksilver model though laugh

There are some very nice cars around the village though; various modern 911s, a 996 targa, one of those fast lexus coupes, various Jag XF and modern XJs, an M4 and no doubt some others that I have forgotten.
