You're kidding right? I got to the point of saving my local BMW dealer principle in my phone book due to the st BMW pulled over my 5 years of 5 series ownership. Loved the car, but BMW were shysters of the highest order, from memory....

1) on collection of the car (2 years, approved used) they had used the wrong colour touch up pen over the entire front. I asked them to sort it.. They delivered the car to me with a touch up kit for me to redo it. They also left me 12 miles of fuel in it, on a near £30k purchase....
2) They broke my glove box door & didn't tell me (*sorry sir, he probably leaned on it reaching to something)
3) They returned my car with only 2/3 of it washed repeatedly, and a lovely big scratch from a dirty sponge (*it's a free wash sir, only done as a courtesy sir. If you bring it back we will rewash it SIR - after a £550 annual service).
4) They'd always try and charge me something like £7 for windscreen washer fluid top up. They charged me a fortunate for wipers I didn't ask for, they charged a fortune for a courtesy car's excess waiver....lots of of little stty bits despite charging £135/hour!!

5) Not including 5 different lots of warranty work undertaken as well!

I'm sorry but BMW are great vehicles, but to consider them reliable or their dealerships professional is patently incorrect.
nope although prob more saying jlr are st than germans good as havent used the germans for a while but when i did they were much better.

where i live a lot of people are employed by jlr and the stories of unreliability are real. more annoying is everyone round here has jlr cars and every single one slates the dealerships including me - they are atrocious and not a patch on the german brands.
Go try a VW dealer if you want “bad”. Crap customer service to match the awful quality of their cars.

tbh all dealers should employ some of the hospitality staff being made redundant and learn about customer service

I'm not in the market for one, but IMHO the facelifted E-Pace looks massively better than the old one.

The old one looked blobby and un-coordinated to my eyes. As if they tried to make it look like a Cayenne, but had to use the standard parts bin. Not good looking at all. And the interior looked rather cheap.

The new one looks a lot sharper inside and out.

Kudos to Jaguar - they seem to be improving their lineup as fast as they can.

I tried the E-Pace when I was last looking a couple of years ago. It fely heavy and less nimble than the F-Pace; just didn't feel right. Went for an F-Pace which has been great but I should've gotten a more powerful engine than the 180. Dealer also been good, though I've not seen them often. Only been for a free AdBlue top up and service in the last 18 months. I'd try an E-Pace again as we tried a new Disco Sport a short while ago on the same 'new' platform as a possible replacement for my wife's 3 yr old DS, and it was an improved drive and generally much better quality. If that translates to the E-Pace then along with the new interior, which I think looks great, it could be worthy, but it still seems heavy for its size.

Seeing as how this is a thread about a PHEV, do you know how many of their PHEVs BMW have had to recall due to a fire risk?
Every single one. German reliability. thumbup
