Apparently you don't. This is the 'correct way'......

Not me I hasten too add. I don't 'do' that kind of thing. I pay to get things done properly.

This p155 poor effort is being as a favour for someone.

Frankly it is pathetic but what would I, & professionals know?
Well I think we would need another photo showing the full width of the boundary and then it might make a bit more sense, but frankly life's too short and I'm off down the pub biggrin

The bizarre lunatic woman on the east Lancs Road in the knackered old Merc, am in lane 1 (bus lane to the left) and she was in lane 2 at the point of her lane ending with well advertised cones and decided not to move in behind me (not a thing was behind me, empty road) but to accelerate forwards, almost wipe out the cones and the front corner of my car and then make weird hand gestures.
This sort of thing happens whenever I have been somewhere and I get back near Manchester/Salford. The place is full of retards.

The two bell ends racing down Spark Hill high street really stood out yesterday. Despite being late ish on a Sunday night there were loads of people about. They must have been doing the best part of 60 as they past us. dheads.

The lady who failed to slow to 30 as she entered our village, nearly hitting my car today cheesed me off after she nearly hit me and then stated gobbing off at me.
Sparkhill....let me guess, either Golfs or Audi S3s, or a mixture of the two?

(I worked near there for several years, and EVERY time I saw a badly driven or heftily speeding car it was one of those.)
"Sparkhill" say no more, doesn't matter what time of the day, there are always bell ends around. Same in Smethwick down Summerfield high street.

It's tiling where you start in the middle to ensure you have evenly sized end pieces... Is the fence person trying to use a tile cutter on the fence panels by any chance? Could be an interesting result...
Is he perhaps installing a gate there?

if this is the rear of the property then I suspect the placement is more about where he wants the last panel at the front of the property to land.

People who go to Screwfix, Eurocarparts, Toolstation etc and don't know what they actually want/need.

They always seem to visit when it's busy, then stand at the counter gawping at some item they've made the staff fetch from stock, trying to work out what it actually is, while the queue grows. Knobs.

When you go to a proper trade merchant then they often have retired plumbers/mechanics etc who can advise, but Screwfix is B&Q's brand for people who don't need to browse. And if you go to a proper merchant at a busy time wanting them to design your whole heating system for you they'll tell you to come back later.

Buy the item, inspect it at your leisure and bring it back if it's wrong.

(Written whilst two of these clueless knobs stand at the counter of Screwfix gawping at stuff... 10 of us in the queue now.)
Agreed. Surely the idea these days is to browse for what you want at home or on site, place your order online and collect it on your way past.

Temporary traffic lights at roadworks turn to red and the traffic stops and waits, but cyclist doesn't think it applies to him, sails past and continues against the now oncoming traffic, squeezing between them and a full height wall, a few vehicles in and there's a truck and no room, no pavement to jig onto either, truck has to stop, cyclist has to cross in front of the truck, lift his bike over the barriers and then clamber over the roadworks and through the workers and the digger. I hope he felt an embarrassed tt.
Something similar yesterday morning, temporary lights, there seemed to be some cycle event on, a few cyclists didn't think that the red light was meant for them, infront of me was a massive waste mangement lorry which stank, it proceeded on the green, then encountered 3 cyclists who had to stop and wedge right up against the curb as the lorry went through, they didn't look too comfortable, at the third cyclist the lorry gave a long blast of its horn, the look on the cyclists face was priceless as it must have been bloody loud for her.
You'll always find cyclists defending the behaviour of fellow cyclists, even if they are 100% in the wrong. The magical get out is that cyclists are on a bike and the damage potential is far greater, despite the fact that they are stupid enough to continually put themselves in that situation and expect magic to happen around them.

That said, we have some road works near us where the changeover isn't long enough for a cyclist to get through, but more often than not, it's their blatant disregard of the rules whilst shouting that all drivers speed or break the law all the time - well Tarquin, not all drivers do. As a cyclist myself it's why I don't join a cycling club because they may be matey in a group, but they are universally tts on the road. [Some of this was said in jest]

i have a mate who is what you might call a full-on cyclist. He fully admits that when he inevitably gets into a remonstration with a car driver he often resorts to personal attacks such as calling them fat because they are driving and he is cycling and therefore a better human. He wasn't joking.

A French pensioner in a beige Scenic with a number plate that begins and ends like that!

Probably doesn’t even know what happened laugh

Hope you find a resolution.

I wonder if this will translate into a later stage of EV driver vs. ICE driver. You could have all sorts of stupid arguments that the EV driver pays no VED/tax or the ICE driver pays more VED/duty/VAT. biggrin

The crazy thing is, I thought about my journey to work today. Left early at 6:15am and in no rush to get to work, so I drove at less than 30mph from home to the main road, joined the motorway and dual carriageway and cruised at 60mph, drove on country road (NSL 60mph) at 50mph not holding anyone up, into 30mph zone at 30mph, indicated for the office car park - no rules broken despite accusations cyclists that we all break the law.

Yup, a Golf R and an S3. Both black in full ‘murdered out’ spec. Cocks.

My wife cycles a lot and she gets super wound up with bad cyclists - mostly because she ends up being tarred with the same brush and she stops at every red light etc.

I'm an occasional cyclist and I stop at reds, why wouldn't I? I'm frequently the only cyclist that does though, it seems nuts to me to run a red light.
