Got any strange yearnings for bizarre cars?

Today, for no reason that I can possibly think of, I have a strange yearning for a Fiat X1/9!
Bertone styling, Italian, mid engined, targa roof, pop up headlights, what's not to like?
I've no idea why though, I don't think I've seen one for probably 25 years.
I owned one of these about 25 years ago in burgundy. It was good fun at the time when it worked. Most of the time I had electrical problems & the alternator was gubbed.Bertone styling, Italian, mid engined, targa roof, pop up headlights, what's not to like?

It is said that Pablo Escobar had his one gold-plated.

Yes.
I woke up one day and had a strong yearning for a Bristol..that was last January. It's been a year, and I still dont have one. It's slightly subdued, but whenever I see one (or rather, a photo of one) the fire inside me reignites.
The other week I decided I wanted a VW Phaeton and two weeks before that I nearly talked myself into a Hyundai Genesis - a once £50k barge with a 3.8 V6 now £12k-15k to have as a daily driver.
