I'm amazed how cheap that is, at first I thought it might be Martin Buckley's car but the reg' number is different. Always liked them ever since I saw Nyree Dawn Porter driving a dark blue one in 'The Protectors' wink

I like everyone of the above....this week alone I have come very close to buying an Aston Martin Lagonda and an A35 van.

I rather like that. I love the colour. However, I'm not entirely convinced by the advert and the seller's spiel.

Nothing bizarre about an X1/9; prone to electrical failures and corrosion yes, it was a Fiat after all, but a splendid little car that made TR7s and MGBs look ancient(can you believe you could buy a new MGB after the launch of the X1/9?). Even had easily enough luggage room for two people on holiday.

Not sure if this is bizarre either but:I think it is:

A lottery win would include a Citroen Mehari (the original, not the new electric one) in the fleet

Yes.

I woke up one day and had a strong yearning for a Bristol..that was last January. It's been a year, and I still dont have one. It's slightly subdued, but whenever I see one (or rather, a photo of one) the fire inside me reignites.

The other week I decided I wanted a VW Phaeton and two weeks before that I nearly talked myself into a Hyundai Genesis - a once £50k barge with a 3.8 V6 now £12k-15k to have as a daily driver.

I guess bizarre is all a matter of perspective. For example, I find it completely bizarre that people drool and dribble over things like a Golf GTI or Audi S3 redface

There's a chap relatively local to me runs one of these as a daily. They make no sense at all and I fully approve your yearning.

Meanwhile, I sometimes look for anyone selling a Peugeot 607.

Always had a hankering for an original Fiat Multipla!

Totally get the Avantime above.

It's not exactly bizarre but I've always hankered after the (now rare) Vauxhall Senator 3.0 24v

Speaking of Maserati, allow me to up the ante. This vehicle is currently on sale at a local specialist:

It's the screeching contrast between the strangely tasteful body color and the red wheels that does it for me.

Avantime and a Vel Satis. Looking on and off for the right ones. Sadly getting rarer.

Don't need them. Will buy them.
