Not a barge but I like it, mainly because VW had a Golf and still decided to make this too.
I'm posting it because 3.6 V6 and red leather. It's just in budget.

Still, interesting curio.
I know we're having all the E39's at the moment. But for a bit of a change, here's a....E34!

Looks decent and I bet those seats are nice and comfortable.
I'm not commenting on the price, other than to say it's in thread budget. And it's more acceptable priced than stely engined Granada's.

I have my usual rules for car buying, but a new one is going to have to be made for someone who pluralises BMW as "bmws".
Literal. Moron.
Some heathens here favour 'bimmers'. This place is going to the dogs. Literal. Moron.

Like the one I posted literally half an hour before you posted that one?! I love E34s. Would prefer a manual though (I know, heathen). I just think they aren't powerful enough for just a 4 speed auto.

If it isn't BMW and HAS to be shortened (which it shouldn't be) then its Beemer, not Bimmer.
We did all this last week. Thread decision was: if you're a wannabe chav (and, let's be honest, who isn't?) it's Beemer; if you're a yank, a wannabe yank, a fan of old motorbikes, or just plain contrary, it's Bimmer.
Never forget, typing those 3 letters in full is such a drag.

All the colours. Presumably this will appeal to someone...

I want it less than I want herpes, but that is pretty cool. There, I've said it. All the colours. Presumably this will appeal to someone...

however, the thing that would concern me most is knowing the person that thought this colour was 'a good idea at the time'... is the same person that has driven it!!

That's the most "wrong" thing I have seen all thread thus far. Execrable eyesores are amusing though, so do keep them coming. All the colours. Presumably this will appeal to someone...

Ok, instead of posting too many of my woes in this thread, I've decided to resurrect my old thread for the 221 (ahh, those days when I had big plans, and actually had some overtime to pay for some of them ).
Would appreciate any input on the technical side of my long ass waffle post
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
The 221 is back ""running"", and is staying with me. You can't put a price on smiles. I utterly adore this car and want to keep it running until I'm forced into an EV... That was the plan when I bought it (ok, when I bought it and got it home without a recovery truck), and this scare has only made me appreciate and love it even more.
I know I should have it down to wbac by week's end and pick up that £1500 C70 convertible (its , isn't it?) by the weekend, but today's 60 or so miles put the biggest smile on my face I've had for months. Its genuine madness, but since a small child who's favourite toy was my impressive accurate E32 750IL scale model (complete with forward opening bonnet and engine with 12... thingys, 4 more than any other toy I had!!!), it seems my life has been steering me towards big V12 barges, and this one is just too special to get rid of, especially in a world where bland cars I'd struggle to muster £900 and a train ticket to buy 18 months ago have become £3k-£5k+ "future classics" over night.
Long live this thread, its ethos and the nutters with a similar affliction. Us and the cars we love are a dying breed, let's do our best to keep them and maybe more importantly, us and our love for them going .
