I see that our old pal JOB, who's abandoned us seemingly, has been having serious probs with a BMW 3 Series Touring, very similar to the one I've just ordered. Bummer.
His thread in GG is worth a read.

I wouldn't have wanted any new car back after that dash out job; it will never, ever be right ever again. His thread in GG is worth a read.

This is probably 'jumping the shark' or something, but I really dislike rings on an index finger. For that reason it's a no from me, despite the nice legs.
A thumb ring means she can suck a golf ball through a hosepipe.Toe ring means hairy armpits and Greenpeace tendencies.
Not sure about an index finger ring...
I love this thread and I love Fridays too! Why can't all PH threads be civilised and hugely entertaining like this?
Keep it up gentlemen........

I'm not convinced by the dash-out argument on a nearly-new car - when all those little foam anti-rattle pieces etc are ok, and with the right method (thanks to manufacturer's workshop manual), they come apart and go back together fine. I did a 2014 1-series for a leaky heater matrix and it was a doddle.
That said, another 10 years down the line when everything's gone brittle and the spongy bits are dusted it's a different story.
Yes but one/he is dealing with a 'technician' who's been handed the dirty end of a bog plunger and has to do the job. He's fked off because it will cost him bonus so he rushes it back together with less than 75% diligence. End result, customer pissed off and job not done.
My franchise experience is only Vauxhall and Chrysler Jeep, but it's the same story over and over. Crappy book time to do the job = st result.
Edit to add: In Sytner's defence, for its MB dealership here I have nothing but pleasant vibes but I am only buying parts from time-to-time.
My aunty bought an S212 from Sytner MB Swindon and she says it's been very good, but then she hasn't had cause to test its customer service as the car has been faultless.

If you want a proper laugh, check the price of this pov spec 200 manual with a bacofoil wrap that fits like a toga....p.s it's been in the "overpriced" thread and apparently someone has challenged the seller on the price and it's not a misprint

Sir I would never leave a man behind. Abandoned say the prosecution, I beg to differ. His thread in GG is worth a read.

Which do we talk about first, L332, 240D or 300D?

I'll take bets on this combination being reversed half way home. The paint on the 300 D looks perfect.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
