with all that gubbins on the bonnet, i'd have expected a better 0-60 of 7.1 secs.....
That is the opposite of barge. And a rather unpleasant way to spend £7k IMO.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202009023...

Will go well over thread but looks in great nick. Clean MOT, low miles and lovely colour (petrol green?)

I may have posted this before but within thread and just 42k miles!

Devil's pump maybe, but that's allowed for a big Cit surely? Warranty claims Ahoy! for the C6

Never mind a car that yesterday's captain of industry may have driven, what about yesterday's Emir of Qatar Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al-Thani special order, armoured S600 for £35k. 13k km from new and rear seat luxury of win.

Obligatory petrol forecourt shot and my 1st ever fill up costing more than £100
First impression is, wow .... so quiet compared to my daily, the other Toyota in the picture
No engine/transmission noise, wind noise, can barely hear cars passing in the opposite direction, loudest thing I can hear when cruising along is my mild tinnitus ringing in my ears
Hoping the Lexus is as reliable as my truck as I've got a couple of epic family road trips in the planning stage
I bought one in 2015 and took it straight to the Grossglockner, Venice, Monaco, Paris and back to London. Still have it and we've done about 60,000 in it now. Check for a leaking PAS pump that drips on the alternator and slowly kills it. First impression is, wow .... so quiet compared to my daily, the other Toyota in the picture

Non-service items done in that time; PAS pump and alternator (see above!), O2 sensors, suspension bushes.

oh i agree totally - i just didnt realise how low these were dropping price wise. mitsi's lost something for me after they started putting big wings on everything - i preferred the understated look with bags of power hidden from view.
Oh, I'd have thought they'd be £-4k for a good one by now. Never really had much of a following and £7k buys you this.https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/11631272

I got my car back from paint a little earlier than expected. It's OK, I'm reasonably happy, it's not brand new Century perfection and tbf I don't think it needs to be, nor could I expect it to be, so it'll do.
There are a few solvent pop pinholes, which is disappointing, but you'd have to be fussy to notice them (and I'm fussy!), the overall shine and finish is good though. A couple of trim items haven't gone back on quite as well as factory fresh, but such is life when trim is removed and refitted, I'll have a fettle later. The car has had paint previously in a few areas, so with a detailing session it will be fine overall. I might touch in and flat the few odd pinholes, it's certainly not worth doing it again.
Have a nice weekend everyone.

Barge royalty requests and requires an OE optional flag carrier, truly fit for heads of state/diplomats/carpet warehouse directors. Also useful come the world cup
What has been bothering me about this for nearly 24 hours is why is it 745 specific. Was the flag holder part number different for the V12 models?Ben
No, it's 1878398
The graphic is just due to the file structure I think.
It has many applications

From a paint shop's perspective, could there be a more intimidating sensible-money car to deal with than a Century?

Oooh - that's the car from ACA! I had a good look over that last week and thought it looked splendid. Not at all what I was there for, but very tempting nonetheless.First impression is, wow .... so quiet compared to my daily, the other Toyota in the picture
