One pair of arches looks dodgy, possibly because of the light. The ones on the car look like I put them on with my first ever go with a rivet gun. I'm not convinced by the rear light alignment there either...
Sounds like you’re referring to a car, Macron?Don’t recall seeing one in that picture.

If only thread had a resident LHD enthusiast in need of 12 cylinders and room for multiple librarians.

They may not fire your enthusiasm, but anyone that thinks a big Lexus isn't a barge is mental.
You'll be telling me the SC430 isn't the most dynamic sports car ever made next. Nutters.
LSs are certainly barges, in the American way, but they lack the style, performance and dynamic abilities which I am unwilling to sacrifice. Is the SC430 a sports car at all? You'll be telling me the SC430 isn't the most dynamic sports car ever made next. Nutters.

I might be alone but I’ll be happy when this desire to post Friday wk material subsides - something quite insalubrious about it all
You're not alone, I don't object to it particularly but I thought we'd moved on from Earls Court in the seventies? It just seems a bit page 3.21st Century Man said:

Barge snobbery in a thread with a max. budget of £5k
Very happy with my LS400 purchase and thanks for the comments
Well spotted Gruber, it is indeed from ACA classic car sale,
Checked the power steering pump for leaks, all good there, thanks for the top tip MTH223
Had a chance to have a look round it yesterday, very pleased to find it's in pretty good all round condition for a 23yr old car
Bonus find were the new Toyo Proxy CF2's front tyres, rears are a mix and match and well past their best.
Biggest job is the cam belt, replaced only 13k miles ago but this was done nearly 10yrs ago, I'll get this done, along with a full service, gearbox, brake, PAS and cooling fluid change just for piece of mind
Need to find a good specialist garage within a reasonable drive from North Oxfordshire, any recommendations?
Lots of little jobs to do to make it really tidy, Bought a new rear light to replace the cracked one for a grand total of £17.90 Pleased to find 2nd hand spares are plentyful and very cheap.
Plan is to waft about locally in a County Lines type of way, then once travel restrictions are lifted explore Europe and beyond

Think there’s probably a nice middle ground on the Friday material, fully or at least mostly clothed would be the preference, knockers out is too far for me and is uncouth.
Marine boy, it might be too far for you but near Littlehampton on the south coast there’s a chap who looks after my LS400 and did my timing belt among other things for about half of what I was quoted elsewhere. Anything he doesn’t know about them isn’t worth knowing - he used to run a breakers outfit for them so knows them inside out. Pm me if you want the details. Lovely buy btw.
