Ooh an actual moderator walks amongst us!
I have a feeling we've had this £4k 550i, not very high spec, but here it is again. Almost as undercover as a mod who lets Friday pr0n slide but draws the line at face masks

For £4k; a big V8 in a rep looking mobile and leather/heated seats etc... It's good enough!I have a feeling we've had this £4k 550i, not very high spec, but here it is again. Almost as undercover as a mod who lets Friday pr0n slide but draws the line at face masks

Looks pretty high spec (for an E60 to me).I have a feeling we've had this £4k 550i, not very high spec, but here it is again. Almost as undercover as a mod who lets Friday pr0n slide but draws the line at face masks

Either way; it could be an expensive fix...
Brake pipes aren't too much of a job
You'd want the car for £3k tops and fix it from there

Yes, please amend this post with the required and correct amount of bowing, scraping and hand wringing as demonstrated in a previous post, thank you. We are truly blessed that a mod drops in of a Sunday. I reckon Scrump is a bargista at heart.I have a feeling we've had this £4k 550i, not very high spec, but here it is again. Almost as undercover as a mod who lets Friday pr0n slide but draws the line at face masks

In other Sunday news, I intended to try and start up the green 525i today but instead after the grand prix I made lamb tacos and opened a bottle of Chianti. There's always another day.

What gives away the HUD and dual zone?!
HUD has the switch here:Basic aircon vs proper dual zone climate (basic at the top, climate at the bottom)
Details here: https://www.meeknet.co.uk/e64/tis_routines/E64%20S...
The full climate also has condensation and solar sensors.

That's useful info. After you said it had HUD I noticed the projection rectangle under the windscreen. I'd love a car with that fitted. Seems like a good safety feature. Basic aircon vs proper dual zone climate (basic at the top, climate at the bottom)

Also ref the blue smoke/oil burn. What happens if it's ignored? Assuming you keep it topped up it will keep going but eventually get to the point it's burning it do badly it's costly to keep it topped up and it will fail emmisions?
