Yes please a lot. Also have been watching Harry's Garage on his XJ-C so there is a fair potential for a lot of hidden expense which is less of a concern because it is a very lovely yellow, isn't the HE so it's the fastest one and has sexy tyres. On the subject of Cross Climate tyres, I had them on a very un-barge Toledo TDI Sport, twice. Before that it had super sporty tyres.
I live on a very steep hill, the sort kids toboggan down the moment it goes a bit white, and the CC are an incredible tyre. They are also surprisingly good at the normal stuff like getting you to work in a double hurry when it's a lovely sunny day and your commute is wide country roads.
I did consider them for the SL but I think that may be a bridge too far and would attract unwanted comments and possible tutting.
On anything this side of a 'performance' saloon though I wouldn't hesitate. Excellent in the wet too.

Wife has "given" me a £10k budget to replace my barge with something newer and therefore more reliable.

Replacing a Blue Vauxhall omega saloon with a Blue Vauxhall omega coupe isn't the most creative of car changes... |https://thumbsnap.com/aQgGrCX4[/url]

How about a full werthers exterior and interior combo, with a sprinkling of Geraldness and within negotiation reach of upper thread (bonkers pricing).
Nevertheless, a 4.3L V8 and no declared rust spots. MOT is okay-ish, too.
Has the driver's door had some action? Otherwise looks really clean and would be wafttastic par excellence Nevertheless, a 4.3L V8 and no declared rust spots. MOT is okay-ish, too.

This - sexy tyres have a bit of the kardashian about them ... none of that skinny nonsense.
That Jag is lovely but as ever makes me look at mine (4.0 Facelift) wondering when it's going to join the land of "appreciating classic". It was in-thread when I bought it nearly 11 years ago and I suspect it's in-thread now!
If I was buying an XJS (something I have pondered on several times) my choice would be a late model with the AJ16 engine. Second choice would what you have with the AJ6. There used to be PHer who was on the design team for Jaguar engines and he reckoned the AJ engine was by far the best bet. That Jag is lovely but as ever makes me look at mine (4.0 Facelift) wondering when it's going to join the land of "appreciating classic". Err wrong photo, I meant this, definitely this:

One you remove those hideous headlamp trims, I suspect that would be a very fine car, as the author of the eulogy suggests. other irritatingly I have need of a car, all of mine being broken, and a 1,000mile journey being on the cards for tomorrow. Shame it's in Sussex and I am not!
Ooh that’s not good. Where do you have need of being? (If you can somehow get to Manchester, you can take the 7 from there, or if you are London bound, if you can get out to Chelmsford, you could pinch the 6 ). I’m stuck doing stuff this evening otherwise I’d run one up Norf for you.Mind you, considering the price of last minute train-fares, or the abject misery that would be an airport, then followed up with the fuel economy of Bavaria’s finest (1000 miles at R129 speed would likely be 4x M6 fill-ups, or 3x 760 fillups), you might well be better off ringing Avis (other car hire firms are available).

You lot should count yourselves lucky that you have a good choice of tyres. I need some new boots for my Scimitar and the choice is:

By the way do NOT look at their vintage posters until Friday
