Had them for over a year on my Octavia VRS. Great tyre, no complaints. Comfortable, quiet, grip well. Costco are doing deals on Michelin again at the moment though.

I’ve always rated the Goodyear F1’s over the years.

Saying that, I now was looking at changing from my RFT’s, and it appears I can’t get them anywhere in my tyre size? They’re listed on the Goodyear site but no one appears to have them in stock.

I had the same trouble. Couldn't get my rear tyres on the net anywhere.

Ended up speaking to my local Kwik Fit. He got them within a week. He was also the cheapest by 80 quid.

That's awesome, thanks for the feedback! I've not had much time on the Corsas, other than doing the Mille Milleigiage with Sam in a QV, and I really liked them (in the dry). Cheeky request, but if you get the time I'd appreciate a review over at https://www.tyrereviews.com/submit.htm?match=Goody... as you've quite a nice bit of experience there smile
No problem. Review left.

How did you find QV?

Thank you, really appreciated smile

I really really liked the QV, it just felt like a really solid M3 / C63 alternative and I would have had one over the same generation M3. One of my favourite motoring memories is chasing down an 812 at silly speeds on the italian roads in one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltZ0NWjAtis

I'm driving the new M3 on monday, I have high hopes.

Had both the 3s and 5s on BMW 5 series. Grip well and great in the rain but even in XL rating the sidewalls were softer than i preferred.

How are you finding the F1 SuperSports?
Hi Jon, I`m a subscriber to your channel and enjoy the content.

I went with Michelin PS4s but I must say although the grip is outstanding the I do find them noisy and lack any comfort.

I`d considered going with Goodyear Assy F1 5s next but maybe there wont be enough difference in noise and comfort over the PS4s.

I`m awaiting your review on Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance 2, they might just be what I`m looking for.

The currently Michelin range has good levels of comfort, so I'm not sure switching to another UHP tyre is the answer!

I've actually tested the EGP2 already, you can check it out here: https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/2020-Tyre-Revi...

If comfort is your priority that's a good option, so is the Michelin Primacy 4

laugh Don't start that

I know the sidewalls on the PS4s are very straight (great rim protection) and look well when cleaned/tyre gelled haha biggrin

Just to add a 3rd challenger into the scene, the new Bridgestone Potenza Sport just beat the F1 SuperSport and Pilot Sport 4S in the AB test, AND is available in smaller sizes

Looks great...and might have pushed the Goodyear Supersport off top spot for my next change of tyre (currently wearing down my Michelin Supersports)

Any idea what the life span of some of these tyres are...as you don't know whether it's better value to pay 20% more for the Michelins for twice the life, over paying 20% less for half the life?

Good question, and no I don't.

The past few new generation bridgestone tyres have had excellent grip, but worn pretty quickly. That, combined with the fact this new Bridgestone starts with quite a low tread depth makes me think it's not going to have a huge amount of longevity.

Yeah; saw that. Still don't do them in the 17" tyre sizes needed unfortunately

Thanks Jon.

Might stick to the Goodyear Supersports until some wear data becomes available.

So, I shouldn't expect a video any time soon of you spending the next 12 months driving up & down the M6 to gather this data tongue out

I was meant to be testing the new Bridgestone vs others this week in France, but it's been delayed by a month. Sadly I couldn't find capacity anywhere to get the tyres wear tested, so I don't think that question will be answered until next year now frown
