Accuracy of an MOT brake test - garage having it on?

Take it to a Council operated MOT station? (presuming they are still open in the current situation)
They have absolutely no stake in whether you pass the MOT or not, so could be a way of getting an unbiased third opinion outside the two you currently have
This is the correct answer They have absolutely no stake in whether you pass the MOT or not, so could be a way of getting an unbiased third opinion outside the two you currently have
If you really did have warped brakes you would know about it as others have pointed out. You'd have either steering wheel wobble or vibrations through the brake pedal (a bit like ABS activating) or both

Its got nothing to do with a council test site, why are people obsessed with council run test center's and that all other mot garages fail things for the fun of it. For those that keep mentioning it do you actually use a council test centre ?
Because they've got no incentive to fail something which isn't a legitimate fail?A schoolmate of mine owns a garage so I take all our cars to him.

Because Martin Lewis said so on his website. I can just imagine a load of grumpy fellas at the test station having to deal with all of these muppets when all they want is an easy life MOTing bin lorries and council vans.
