Just because I'm a genuinely nice fella, and you can never have too many used car articles, I've come up with some more categories for this feature so that hopefully it doesn't just start to become a pointless exercise in marketing for the classifieds;

The best used cars with 17 inch wheels in 2021.

The best used cars with 4 doors in 2021.

The best used cars that are white in 2021.

The best used cars that start with the letter S in 2021.

The best used cars with body coloured bumpers in 2021.

The best used cars with a only a few minor stone chips otherwise the bodywork is immaculate in 2021.

The best used cars for Cheryl, 31 from Doncaster in 2021. (Nervous driver)

The best used cars with which people can't remember where the catch to open the bloody bonnet is in 2021.

The best used cars you once claimed, whilst trying impress folks in the pub with a made up story, that your mates dad used to own and it was really fast back in the day, he let you have a go in it as well and you were doing handbrake turns outside the local disco because you were really cool in 2021.

As you can see there are multiple variations to be seized upon in many of these categories so they should keep you going for a while.

You're welcome.
You’ve missed a couple.....
Best car described as very rare by the dealer - even though 30+ are also for sale in the classifieds

Cars described by dealers as ‘best colour combination’ even they are an awful colour either internally or externally

You are also welcome wink

Best cars that 'pull like a train'

Best cars that 'just need easy fix but haven't got time'

People love to castigate Audis for being rubbish to drive but every one on that list is a cracker in my opinion. I'd pair an original S8 with an RS4 Avant and an R8 V10 manual for a perfect 1 make 3 car garage smile.

Not an Audi fan but that’s a very good list (except perhaps RS7). I agreed the RS2 should have got a look in somewhere instead of the RS7 and with a bit of juggling about which car in which price band.

I forgot mention a few myself;

Best used cars which you thought that you had definitely identified correctly from a distance but when you got a bit closer you realised that it was something completely different in 2021.

Best used cars where bizarrely all four tyres are matching and in good condition in 2021.

Best used cars with a hilarious sticker in the back window in 2021.

Best used cars that your nanna says; "Oooohh! That looks posh, must have cost a fortune!" even though she has absolutely no idea about cars and is so old, and therefore out of touch with reality, that she still thinks giving you £5 for your birthday is enough to sort yourself a nice meal out with some drinks. Yeah, right nanna!? I'll just pop to the supermarket and grab myself a friggin meal deal, thanks a bundle in 2021.

How far up the scale of 'Audis that get stolen' is the R8?

- Obviously not practical as a vehicle being used by a gang.
- Not exactly subtle

However I assume alot of the performance parts are similar for RS4 / 6 Models? - so desirable for breaking.

Just wondered if they were as high up the scale as some of the very hot hatch VW / Audi range.
When I insured the R8 RWS I transferred the insurance over from an M2. I nearly fell through the floor when the lady said that’s fine we owe you £92! When I asked her why the £125k car was cheaper to insure than the £45k one she just said “ ah it’s because M2’s get nicked”.
Happy days.

I ran an S1 for 6 months when they first came out.
I was genuinely surprised at how fun it was.
Interior was pretty basic I remember.
I'd definitely have another.

Not the most dynamic I know, but I love my B7 S4 Cab. Had the roof down today and the V8 sounds so sweet.

Really do love my 8V RS3, it isn't perfect but the noise is just intoxicating. Would love an R8 some day but it would have to be the V10 for me yes

For those of us of a certain age, only an RS2 and a Sport Quattro are worthy
For all you young guns, enjoy your Audi TiTTy, RS6 et al, they are probably (ok definitely) better to drive than my choice and faster over a stretch of windy road, but then, that’s missing the whole ‘thing’ of the older two cars I’d choose.

if I had to choose, it would be a audi Avus Quattro,

ow wait, not here, but then the Audi R8
hm, what model... mk1 or mk2, mk1 I think looks better, but the top versions mk2 are faster.

mk1 the GT version is cool but only automatic one clutch, just 333 made, or the LMX version also automatic, but with twin clutch, just 99 made.
or also very rare, a R8 Plus with manual gearbox, not sure how many of those are there, they seem very rare also.
Also, please with the more bucker seats ala R8 and sort, look sporty ans saves some weight as well.
