Just wondered if they were as high up the scale as some of the very hot hatch VW / Audi range.

When I insured the R8 RWS I transferred the insurance over from an M2. I nearly fell through the floor when the lady said that’s fine we owe you £92! When I asked her why the £125k car was cheaper to insure than the £45k one she just said “ ah it’s because M2’s get nicked”.

I'm guessing that answers my question then - not 'overly knick-able'.

I start doing a bit digging into theft numbers - but I suppose anything has the potential of being taken if someone wants / has an order / need for one.

Yes its Ragusa Green, looks quite dark in the pictures but it depends how you catch the sun, it you get it right iit shows a lovely metallic green or very dark in the shadows.

I currently own 2 off the list.

I’ve owned another off this list for Years, but don’t have now.

3 very different engines; The ubiquitous 2L Turbo, the super creamy 4.2 naturally aspirated V8 & the 4L Twin Turbo V8. That also finds its way into other cars; Bentley Conti, Porsche Panamera, Urius.

I’d say what’s said in the article about each of the 3 cars is pretty accurate.

My little S1 is fantastic through the twist’ys. I love it.
