Just what our battered crumbling roads needed. Another overweight, bloated oversized super tanker for the streets!
The fact that 22" wheels don't look too big on this thing tells you all you need to know.
Meh not my bag at all. They'll sell loads no doubt.
"battered crumbling roads" ... you been reading the Daily Mail ? Or do you live in rural Albania ? The fact that 22" wheels don't look too big on this thing tells you all you need to know.

There are far more larger and much heavier vehicles on the UK roads than this car, the impact on our tarmac that the SVR causes will be negligible.

It makes the DBX, at effectively twice the price, look rather poor value in comparison.
definitely, I'm sure for some the lure of having the Aston badge on the grille will be enough to get them to part with their cash and I'm sure Aston will still sell every DBX that they make with their limited production volumes. I'm not particularly into SUV's, but as far as the design of them goes this looks good, better than some of the alternatives. The exterior looks purposeful but not OTT.
The interior design looks decent, though I've never been a fan of the floating screen thing, and the gear selector whatsit looks a bit odd? Not really liking the white leather, but I'm sure there is a nice choice of colours.
Engine seems mighty, worth enjoying while we still can, etc.
This is one of those types of cars that I could never see myself looking to buy, but if I had more money than sence then why not? As others have said, the price seems fairly reasonable comparitively.

I may be missing something here, but why is this being compared to the Macan and the Alfa? Isn't it in the class size above so more like the Cayenne?
I had one as a loan car for a couple of weeks and it felt huge (albeit compared to an F-Type).
The F-Pace size wise fits between the smaller Macan and the bigger Cayenne, hence it's £10k more expensive that the Macan Turbo but £10 cheaper that the Cayenne GTS Coupe. Simples I had one as a loan car for a couple of weeks and it felt huge (albeit compared to an F-Type).
I mean, nice interior and lovely engine. But apart from an F-Type, this gorgeous engine can only be had in an SUV? What a shame.
And back wheels - why? Stop it. The wheel chap spent all that time designing something nice and it then disappears under black paint because someone thinks Gangsta makes them look cool. In an Orange SUV. Come on.

I think it looks great and size wise fits nicely in between the mid and large size SUVs.
The only thing I d say about the whole performance SUV concept is for me the cars don't lend themselves to the performance on offer not that they can't do it or handle, I have an X3M and despite being faster than all my previous M cars, I never really push it in the way I would with the 4 M3s I've had as it just seems at odds with the style/type of car.

Bilstein dampers with new seettings? Oh dear.
All you seem to do is point out spelling mistakes. Don't you have anything else to contribute?Odd person.
“Needless to say, JLR's tuning division did not stopped there. “. I am not sure where they did stopped, but relieved it wasn’t there.

Accepted it is fairly subjective but for me back wheels are a must have and well worth optioning from new. And back wheels - why? Stop it. In today’s day and age there needs to be a clear distinction made between enthusiast driver focused vehicles and commuter commodities as to make a high powered heavy inefficient vehicle such as this with the legislation coming forward risks being to the detriment of all. Anyone buying one of these therefore should formally be known as a ‘muppet’
Saw an SVR at Tesco the other day and it sounded fabulous. I also think it was accentuated by the fact I was waiting outside and stood right next to the electric car charging points and despite several nice, electric cars floating past (including an Audi A8), the only noise I had heard prior to that were the reversing chimes of a Hyundai or Kia electric car!

This car is the best product across the entire JLR portfolio. Let the electric thing happen, but place the Halo completely over the F-Pace SVR. Its a winner on every demonstrable level and a stonewall future classic.
I agree with others in that the interior design is a real triumph in this although I don't find Jaguar products desirable in general.Edited by Sulphur Man on Monday 1st March 11:01
As for a future classic; I can't help thinking that picking up the car below would be a decent bet at the price it is now; especially in lieu of the recent announcement by Jaguar;
