Far too try hard, in fact it’s cringe worthy. Just about the least classy car I can think of.

Struggling to fathom what sort of person would actually buy it. As has already even mentioned, likely to be used as an inner-city car used to deliver small white packages.

Think it looks purposeful, still not a looker but black is the best colour to hide that grill, black and gold is always a good combo. Stripes not going forward of the vent looks odd as well.

If you look at the Manhart back catalogue all their show cars are black....however I know what you are getting at! Managed to get a look at the M4 and M3 in person a few days ago. To my surprise I wasn’t as offended as I thought I was going to be. I know it’s been said before, definitely looks better in person.
