There seems to be only one photo with the car in white, the others appear to be that light grey 'chalk' that Porsche tout for a few K extra.

I wonder if it has a central rear seat like the Panamera Sport Turismo. Anyone know?

This is super cool with the off road package. Would love to get one at some point.

Yes 4+1 seat is available (as an option, naturally!)

Lol naturally. And just to correct my earlier post-it's 'crayon' not 'chalk'.

Good point, although not for a while and no doubt the EV benefit in kind will be ramped up as EV becomes more mainstream.

About to chop a Cayenne and press the button on one of these, the Cross Turismo is aimed squarely at me - 2 kids. 1 dog, but the styling is a compromise and the wife loves the saloon. Will the dog go or will it be me?

Tax is an interesting thing. So I take a car allowance from work and pay 40% plus a bit tax and I suppose NI, but with an electric car I get the sort of deal I had when I first got a company car if not even better (ok it was a while ago and came with horses to pull it) so leccy cars suddenly make company cars quite cool again.

Quite tempted... Ticks a lot of boxes for me.
I paid a deposit on one when i picked up my Taycan in October and informed today i should get of the first couple my OPC gets. Really looking forward to it as it should drive as well as my existing Taycan with the added benefit of much improved packaging and off road ability. It would suit you down to the ground plus the tax benefits.

Ugly.

I did skip read a lot of that but am I reading it right, with the off-road package this off-road, rufty-tufty go anywhere (that will never be taken off road by any owner ever) actually has just over an inch more ground clearance than the standard car? An inch! FFS! Where are the break-over/approach/departure angles when you need them?tongue out

This exemplifies how completely fked up the car industry is these days.

They can no longer build and market an estate - it must be an SUV or it won’t sell. So a vehicle like this, which would look great lowered and without all the black plastic ste is instead bastardised to make it marketable.

I wonder how many buyers will get the black bits painted body colour and lower it? I would if I could afford one.

I imagine it will be a very useable road car though.

Indeed. Why can't we just have this without all the added crap?

I really like the style of the Panamera Sport Turismo (the estate in non-Porsche), and it's a definite contender if we need more seats.

I like, and would consider this for similar reasons, but I am a little put off by the fake off roader thing, which, notably, Porsche didn't do with the Panamera. Very odd.

I have no doubt it will but why dress it up to be something it clearly isn't, pure BS marketing.

Possibly, but not really worth getting angry about.

Typical of many of the badge snobs in here. You get Porcsche or the German marques make anything and they have a wet dream over it. If this had been Honda they would come out with their usual outdated dinosaur recycled comments such as chav, halfords etc.

rolleyes

This is what Honda currently call styling..

The Halfords comment appears to be very fair..

The new 3/4 Series has hardly been getting positive feedback on here either?

You must have missed the recent m3 launch then. Anyway calling fantasy chav comments recycled is a bit rich considering you only just posted the same "badge snob" comments on the Audi thread. Cry for attention comrade?
