My insurance was below £400 for 4 years or so with my Discovery 3. Cheapest was £320, with all mods declared, business use etc.

Since I moved house, changed to a Freelander 2 for the daily and added the OH as a named driver it jumped over £200.

Managed to get it back to £336 with some comparison sites, then clicking into the provider to get it cheaper.

It’s more reasonable than the £526 I was quoted for it.

33, 15 years NCB, clean license, clean record, support worker as job.

Mine was consistently about £1000 per car per year for all of my twenties, then started falling after thirty.

I now (aged 36) pay £600 fully comp for two cars in central London. Which feels like a pretty good deal to me.

Prices starting falling for me when I started parking in a garage rather than on the street. I don't know if this was more of a factor than my age?
