Where did you get the front number plate from? I would like one that style on my car. It has currently got a plinth with the plate stuck on that. But I think how you have done it would look better on my car.
That's actually a photo from when I first picked up the car 18 months ago.....it came like that from the dealer. Where did you get the front number plate from? I would like one that style on my car. I've since changed it after being pulled over and charged £100.

They have aged wonderfully. Has it proven reliable?
It has had a few electrical gremlins but none that have generated big bills. Mechanically very sound. The V6 is pretty well bullet-proof providing you get the belts/tensioners done every 4-5 years. The suspension has a reputation for being of the chocolate variety but once you get it polybushed then no worse than any other car of the era.Edited by caiss4 on Wednesday 31st March 20:19

Lovely I had my M100 Elan out for a brilliant 40 mile run yesterday, too nice weather not to. I keep it taxed and insured(on Classic insurance for 3k miles per year) as I like to give it a couple of runs a month. I don’t do the long runs in it we used to but after 22 years ownership and 130k miles I’ll never sell it.

Got my Corvette's MOT booked for this Thursday, first time it'll have moved in 4 months or so! Can't wait to get out and about in it again.
Also got the added fun of my brother, Dad and myself having gone 3 ways on an Ariel Atom 3, which I've not even see in the flesh yet, so even more fair weather fun to be had!
My SL’s been stuck in a car park in Amsterdam for over a year now. I hope to liberate it next week, but we’ll have to see. Also got the added fun of my brother, Dad and myself having gone 3 ways on an Ariel Atom 3, which I've not even see in the flesh yet, so even more fair weather fun to be had!
I'm leaving my Focus RS on SORN again this year - Covid buggered up plans for some required jobs on it last year and i can't see myself getting enough use out of it this year to warrant spending £££ on a new turbo, mapping and a few other bits if it's just going to end up in the garage. So i'm holding that work back for next year.
Not a bad thing really as it enables me to spend time & £££ on my 205 GTI instead and hopefully get some decent mileage on it this year. I managed to take it for a decent-ish run on Wednesday - car ran really well considering the last long drive it had was mid December when i picked it up from having the suspension refreshed.

Yes. I’m questioning the necessity of having a pop out of the blue like that.Klippie said:
I just don't know what to believe. My weather app was telling me it was blazing sunshine all day today......nothing but cloud right now. One forecast says all weekend is dry and quite sunny, another says mostly cloudy. As my car is a targa top, it's rather important to know if I'm expecting rain or not!

Not meant as a pop at anyone. More a commentary on the joys of classic car ownership (which I know well).
That was how I saw it as well. Everyone knows that a TVR is the sort of car that needs constant attention and fettling. Plus it is pretty much 99% guaranteed that it won't start at some stage. I love TVR's but they are a royal pain in the arse to live with...fantastic when they are working though.
