Waiting for April 1st, hate paying the £580 tax, needs an MOT too actually.

Bloody window jet nozzles stopped working, again, so will fix them and assuming it pass no issues.
I've just taxed mine to avoid the increase on 1st April. Paid £330 for the year instead of £600 it will be after 1st April, even though car won't move until June I should imagine.
Whoaaaaaa, what have I missed? Is road tax shooting up in April?? Should I be taxing mine before then?!
Yeah, whoah, hit the brakes, say WHAT?

To save you some time, I THINK what's happening is that everyone's road tax will be going up by about £20 or so.

Soon... Started fine a couple of weeks back and had a quick run round the block, but I haven't had a proper run out in it yet.

Caterham started first time a couple of weeks ago and didn’t blow itself to pieces. Result.

Yes it’s time again. This was the end of Autumn, when it was last out on the road.

Recent reply, copied over from the other road tax thread, below with links to the comparison of cost last year vs this year. It seems that everything registered pre '17 up to band G gets the standard yearly £5 increase, bands H to K get a £10 increase and everything in bands L & M get a £20 increase.

Had a couple of dry days about 2 weeks ago so renewed the tax and put this back on the road. A couple of days of use generated a jobs list I’ve now only just worked through!

Looking like I'll tax mine today and go for a drive with my mate this afternoon, rude not to with this weather.

Using this today to make the first post lockdown family visit to the mother-in-law’s more tolerable.

I know you're probably oversimplifying it and you actually do more than that, but a lot of people probably don't. Which is why I think the lack of a required MOT on cars like that is lunacy eek
