Due to collect mine from MOT/service a bit later.
It was lovely and sunny when I dropped it off, but of course it's raining now.

Car is drenched. But, at least it sailed through another MOT/service, and reminded me yet again I didn't do enough miles in the last 12 months haha.

My 18 year old Z4M has always been garaged in the 13 years I've had it and driven all year round albeit not very much.

I don't like the idea of not driving it plus I think it does the car good to be driven.

If it was suffering from bodywork issues or struggling on the MOT's I might be more precious. I understand older cars weren't well treated as far as rust is concerned but a 2006 car should be ok.

Have I left it too late? Will it start to go downhill soon?

Broke out the cleaning kit and gave the C63 its spring clean and a coat of wax, it did get out a couple of times over the winter but its not been far.

Is this not an all year round car? I think more should use their cars as much as poss during the year or else you are preserving it for the next owner and not enjoying it as much as you can

Almost impossible to know. Have a good look underneath at the next MOT?

My 2001 330ci, used daily and on 200k, has just had £4k worth of welding done on it over this winter. Repaired and reinforced boot floor, two new cills, new battery box floor, various other patches around the rear half. It's also had new front wings 7 years ago which are getting repaired and repainted this time round.

Unfortunately my Lotus is still away having a self inflicted paintwork requirement attended to. But earlier this year we picked up a really nice MK1 MX5. It wasn't intended to be used until April but a couple of weeks ago, I needed to be in the Cairngorms for work. Mrs GW's E-Up had a charging issue so I left her with the family bus, taxed the Mazda and headed north. I have to say it was bloody fantastic.

Time to get some miles in before it goes in for annual check over/service. Not sure they’ve made a better can to hustle down a country road.

First sunny day of the year so family helped me get the hard top off the 380 SL. Bit of a wash, and now ready for the summer. Just need some warm weather!

Daughter was out yesterday so Mrs OMITN and I went out for a couple of hours yesterday. Not far, not fast. But thoroughly enjoyable.

Other than washing grimy engine parts in the dishwasher, obviously…

Car gets used any time there isn't salt in the roads, but it was nice to have the top down and a bit of sunshine!

Drove to Ellesmere Port Easter boat gathering, only to be collared by a family who wanted a photo in the car. Apparently the grandfather had a Austin 12 back in th day or something like that.

The S2000 has been SORN over the winter, taxed last night to begin tomorrow.
Will be given a going over today (rain permitting).

Planning a Route Napoleon road trip in a few weeks to stretch its legs.
