RE: Introducing Strada Magazine
Discussion

I just subscribed last week so they are still taking money although I have been in touch by facebook messenger and email and have not had a reply! Perhaps Nathan could let us all know on here what is happening?
He's only posted twice since May, and his Twiter thing above suggests he's no longer involved anyway.I noticed Nathan tweeted about a week ago that showed his new business cards as a freelance editorial consultant and his LinkedIn says 'Editor, Strada Magazine November 2020 - June 2021' so I guess it could well be over, sadly.
Any updates if you are reading Nathan? If it's all gone belly up then I don't so much mind writing off my subscription, issue 1 was epic but I imagine it was mega costly to produce. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
However if it's not a going concern, people should really be told so they don't subscribe if there isn't going to be an Issue 2. Appreciate there may be legal ramifications of you responding on this,

Not looking good....
Not sure what this means for subscribers. I've just emailed Eau Rouge Publishing and will report back if/ when I receive a response.
It looks like Eau Rouge Publishing may be part of Eau Rouge Classic Ltd, which is part owned by Nathan. They seem to be trading. Not sure what this means for subscribers. I've just emailed Eau Rouge Publishing and will report back if/ when I receive a response.
Hello all – I'm afraid it isn't good news and that issue one of Strada will be the last. There will be a full email to subscribers (including those who have signed up in the last few days) towards the end of this week with details of the refunds or the alternative; it isn't for me to go into too much detail on here.
I really can't say too much on here for now but I'd like to thank all those who subscribed off the bat or bought the first issue. I'd also like to thank the advertisers who took a punt on a new project, and all those involved in its production, from the production team to the owners, snappers, writers and press offices who helped make it happen.
Just to confirm before it gets out of hand – I have nothing to do with Eau Rouge Classics Ltd (and neither does Strada... sorry... did)

It is a shame. Without knowing the reasons for closure, and therefore making some assumptions, this and the demise of Motorpunk may suggest that digital-only might be the future for new entrants to this marketplace.
I'm sufficiently old that I still think the internet should be free and I'm suspicious of paying a subscription for a website, but I'm happy to (and do) pay for digital versions of print media.

It’s a shame because a print magazine is much nicer to read.I'm sufficiently old that I still think the internet should be free and I'm suspicious of paying a subscription for a website, but I'm happy to (and do) pay for digital versions of print media.

No sign of them at the London Classic Car Show either, which doesn't augur well given that they were supposed to be sponsoring one of the exhibits
Yes, that was bittersweet: the 80s/90s brutalism display was my idea, and it was supposed to be 'in association with Strada', and I curated five of the cars – you can probably guess three of them (ahem). But it was good to see that display's popularity, at least on the Friday. The Aston Martin Virage 6.3 was supposed to be in issue 2, but will now appear elsewhere.

That's a shame the first issue is the last, I thought it was great. Had a sort of Superclassics feel to it though and that only lasted 4 issues and that was in the mid 90s when print was king. I still have all four. That's twice you've sort of referred to an alternative now, I'd be happy for the balance of my sub to go to a new publication as long as it's not about electric cars, I couldn't swallow that no matter how quick they are.
