Best smoker barges 1-5 large [Vol 19]

We had a barge meet at the lakeland motor museum featured in Harry's video a few years ago. r129sl drove my 190 2.6 and I drove his legendary w124 diesel. The museum was really pleasant. A real range of exhibits in the main area, and then the Campbell display in a separate building.
The rain was incredible though. Lake district rain is second only to welsh rain in terms of its wetness.
I enjoyed that day, having made a weekend of it in the Jaguar XJR-S. The rain was biblical! The rain was incredible though. Lake district rain is second only to welsh rain in terms of its wetness.

Apologies if this has been covered, I haven’t checked in for a week and haven’t caught up yet but is the planned barge meet still on for next week at Sunday Scramble? If so, is there any planned rendezvous point?
Edit, just saw this
And IHaven’t got a ticket yet but just checked and they are still available
Edit, just saw this

I'm bumping this as Bicester is next week. Who's looking likely to attend?

Barges are appropriate for the Lake District which is handy for you guys.
Yes the SLR looks fantastic anyway but especially in a decent colour. Pity repaint is such an expensive option on the MSO.
I've just watched Shmee review the new Ferrari SF90. Two of them passed me the other week LHD on Italian plates and ok they have presence but I didn't get the lust.
I'd obviously not say no to one but I'd rather have the SLR. Both reviewers also have their own styles but I prefer Harry's style and he has a broad knowledge too.

I find shmee unwatchable. Not sure why. Possibly me being irrational, or just not his target market, but I find him really irritating.Yes the SLR looks fantastic anyway but especially in a decent colour. Pity repaint is such an expensive option on the MSO.

Be boring if we liked all the same things eh?

I love the idea of this, but chavtints, bankruptcy potential when it breaks, the dealer's parody of John Lewis' slogan "Never knowingly sold a good car", and what looks like severe kerb rash on the wheels, indicating careless use and poor preparation are really off putting.
Well at mention of them we had a great weekend away at York in the slk which was purchased from there and continues to work perfectly, Even they must sell the odd decent car by mistake seemingly Emeye said:

That’s annoying, they were love last night and I put one in my basket but thought I’d check here first before buying. I’ve already got tickets for Saturday though. MercedesClassic said:

It also has an amazing spec and the MOT history is very good too.
Ps I've just watched the Harry's Garage video of the MSO fettled McLaren SLR. Oh my word what a car. Scenic drive too.

I saw one of these when I took my car for servicing last year. There is almost always an SLR there but never seen an MSO one before. It also has an amazing spec and the MOT history is very good too.

Thanks for the advice re the E63 Estate I enquired about earlier; I am admittedly still lost in the 211/212 world and whatever changes that means - it was the high spec of the car that intrigued me most a swell as the obvious grunt. The Keighley offering is interesting but having lived near there for some time I know a little of the Traders modus operandii and will pass on it.
BMW 320i Auto Estate with a nice interior colour. £3500, though some issue with the air sensor. Interesting description with the owner/dealer owning up to having no idea why someone put M badges on the car!

211 is a completely different model to the 212. The 211 was introduce in 2003 and had a facelift with various re-engineered components in 2006 iirc. The model ended in 2009 at which point the 212 was introduced.
In terms of 211 AMG, it was initially offered with the 5.5L supercharged M133K and then the M156 iirc 6.2L V8.

Brilliant - thank you. In terms of the 211 which is least bork-prone, the E55 or the E63?The 211 was introduce in 2003 and had a facelift with various re-engineered components in 2006 iirc. The model ended in 2009 at which point the 212 was introduced.
