Best smoker barges 1-5 large [Vol 19]
Discussion
Even just a large gazebo would do - I have a "Coleman Event Shelter XL" which is 4.5m square and fits a reasonable-sized car quite happily. It's also more than robust enough to last a UK winter, on hard standing it would work if you fixed the feet onto some decking boards.
I don't recommend a fitted car cover, too easy for dirt to get blown underneath (even well-fitted ones in winter) and knacker the paint.

Awesome. So glad this didn’t get traded in.
Look forward to regular updates and even more regular forecourt photography.
Reminds me of this, that someone I know recently knocked up.

Wtf it's wrong with German radio, i love it on the way to from the Alps.... until you pass a USA base and suddenly it's back to 2021....
It was R4 on LW, that got interference from ... well, just about everything, or German techno/hip-hop/ garage/Ed Sheeran on 'Germany's hit radio...'Obviously I loved the variety, but the CDs certainly got well-used on the road-trips.

Anyhow, apologies. Thread diversion.
This is probably a shed, but I'd mostly like to find the person who thought these exhaust pipes were a good idea and give them a stern talking to. Or at least a waggle of a finger.

Right.
This filthy pair turned up Tuesday evening.
If there is one thing my parents taught me, it was to never agree to purchase an old car from a fella living abroad sight unseen. Especially if he claims to be a Prince or King or a deceased President of France.
<snip>
Merci Monsieur le Président and all those threadists who offered their help to get the cars here. Vive la barge.
To be continued....

Great to see a happy ending.
Clean MOT, fully optioned (memory orthopedic seats and climate control etc etc) and I think shot in Strasbourg which trumps boat yard which trumps gravel....

2009 A8 3.0 tdi SE on 128k miles.
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202101127...
Black on black.
Memory, keyless + heated front and rear.
£4900 and no admin fee nonsense.
BUT LWB + 235/55/17inch = must be as comfy an A8 as any in the last 12 years (unless the £80k brand new ones electronically magic out pot-holes).

Can’t remember whether I mentioned this but after I retired I got my HGV licence, just as a bucket list thing.
That’s something on my retirement bucket list too. Quite like the idea of doing a few runs on a ‘just because’ basis too so that it would have some longevity. Edited by ian316 on Thursday 5th August 06:59

The currently inoperable massage seats seem like the type of challenge that r129sl would enjoy getting stuck into - wasn't he looking for a 320? What are the differences between that and a 300-24?
Seller is shirley a lurker on this thread, judging by the ad's gleefully outline detail, their tone and employment of language... "It can be redeemed from an MB dealership". What a class act.

6 month warranty too, as close to acceptable as a diesel can get really. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202101127...
