I've had a 2-car garage for most of the last 20 years. It has usually been a 4 seat sports saloon or coupe (usually an M3) plus a 2 seat sports car (usually a Cayman).
Currently I have these two - both manual:
And within the next month, the 2-car garage will become a 3-car garage with the addition of a black GR Yaris
Cracking combination Currently I have these two - both manual:

Two car garage is the only way to go!
My previous 2 car combo was a daily driver Honda Accord Executive and a Caterham 7. The Accord was a saloon, so an estate / hatch would have been better, but it did the job. Back then, both manual!
Now, it's a GT86 and a Corolla Hybrid. The 86 needs no introduction, and the Corolla (in 2.0 guise) is actually a really great car. Waft in comfort at 65 to the gallon or, slip into sports mode, use the pedals and have some fun! To boost the practicality side of things, the Corolla Hatch is being replaced with a Touring as soon as delivery dates allow.
I'd love an Elise, Caterham or MX5 as a perfect 3 car combo, but I don't have a garage right now.

(Awful picture) Love my 2-car combo, covers every base (ish), if I had room for a third it would go to a Renault Sport spider or original Dodge Viper RT/10.
I've got a choice of 12 cars and 8 bikes. I prefer older stuff; not least, it appreciates, rather than the less desirable opposite with new cars. Current runabout is a full Type-R spec "CRX-R" and a 4WD 4 berth Toyota built Diesel camper (With a bike carrier). Both are over 30 years old. The more expensive but still '80's and '90's toys only come out very occasionally.

Currently, a petrol SQ5 and a Nissan 350Z.
But the Nissan is entirely too practical now that my wife and I both work from home, and will br transforming soon, into...
Caterham
XV220 NA 2.2 with a SC kit
Ginetta
Elise of some sort
Or something similar, to live in the garage and come out at the weekends for fun, sprints, hillclimbs, etc.

My next favourite 2 car garage featured so far is the Caterham and the Porsche Cayman from AndrewGP.
Some other great cars featured also but unfortunately not keeping to the theme of the thread of a 2 car garage!
