Rudeboy car of choice in your manor
Discussion
Live in NW London (someone has to) and have noticed a definite shift.
.
I notice Ali G has has graduated from his 1 series to C63 (W204 or W205)
Not a day goes by when someone driving horizontal whizzes past with the smell of weed emanating..then the 'pop pop pop' as they impress their 14 year old girlfriend on the A406.
Nothing against the C63 (used to have one)...why is so appealing to Ali G? Presumably the noise. Looks wise they are not massively different to the normal C.
I never see them in M3s which is good as my F80 goes unnoticed, even in Yas Marina blue.

Golf R, 140i or the A45 for the innit bruv types, complete with illegal smoked plates, gangster tints and probably insured through their uncle's mate's dad's dodgy hire car company. For your more traditional scrote, a knackered Fiesta ST or Civic Type R with an obnoxiously loud exhaust, seat all the way back and windows permanently down so everyone with a half mile radius gets to enjoy their choice of music,
In south London the roadmen tend to lease Merc A-classes.I’ve seen a few in C63s too, so its not just a NW London thing.
This is all a product of dirt cheap money. Even a council estate rat can afford £400 a month in car payments, particularly when their rent is paid for by tax payers, and their illegal side hustles are cash in hand.
Living in London really changes your perspective of cars. Nobody bats an eyelid at what would be impressive cars, because of the sorts that buy them here.

In the rough end of Bristol it is:
Kilo dealers
A class a35 and a45.
Range Rover SVR in that blue colour with half black wraps
BMW 140
Loads and loads of proper M stuff
A fair few rs6.
Gram dealers
Old s3
Old s5
C class amg
Obviously all with tinted windows , rhubarb and custard vape pouring out of the windows . a CD hanging from the rear view mirror and a bird that looks like a reject from Bambi Blacks in the passenger seat.

Audi A3s and 4s seem to be the default brain donors weapon of choice in Newcastle, absolutely stereotypically in " st driver white ". Bought, or more likely PCPd by the saddos who fall for the tight shutlines and nice interiors instead of doing basic research, and who then kick off massively at the front desk of the main dealers when it all goes tits up 3 months in.
For the avoidance of doubt, I don't like Audi. Unless it's a not in white R8.

Don't seem to have any wideboys / roadmen / drug dealers in my neck of the woods, but there is a blue chrome wrapped BMW i8 and a few modified Nissan GTRs that often park outside the cornershop and barbers in the less pleasant parts of the city...
Lots of badly modified old stuff, including an ancient grey 650i with HUGE bright red wheels for some bizzare reason.
Maybe I just lucky enough to live in such a backwards part of the county, we don't have those kinds of problems yet

Northamptonshire
M4 mainly but also…
A45 AMG
SVR RRS
That said- any enthusiast car seems to attract attention (particularly German brands)… I don’t mind other than some hideous modifications (I like a good mod) should be an RSPCA but for cars badly modded!
Only exception is Porsche…. Classier client base! Never see these badly modded round here or driven badly
