does this mean there wont be a a 911 T seeing as optioned correctly this has no rear seats and 4x the weight savings of the last T?
This isn't the first time rear seat delete has been offered on the GTS or a light weight pack.Porsche are never one to miss offering an option or plugging a hole in the market, so I'd be surprised if there was no Carrera T.

Lovely lovely thing, in manual, lightweight interior package on it, add the aero pack, maybe carbon roof and select the shark blue paint. Wheels look fine to me.
Obviously, not as sharp a steer as the new GT3 would be, but looks like one to the uninitiated, more than good enough for most of us and none of the shenanigans required to get it.
£120k with a bit of BOSE for cruising days.
As others have said, 480bhp really isn't needed in one of these, so probably a < 400bhp 992-T for me - if such a thing ever comes out and isn't subject to the new speed limiting regs for type approvals post May '22.

can you not just buy a base 992 and remove the rear seats? is there a lightweight package for the base car?altenatively just buy a gts and perhaps get a custom remap to make it slower?

That looks tremendous, especially with the aero package. Obviously, not as sharp a steer as the new GT3 would be, but looks like one to the uninitiated, more than good enough for most of us and none of the shenanigans required to get it.

This really does it for me as an overall package. I feel the SportDesign front and rear fascias are essential to make the 992 shape work. The extra body colour pieces on the front really transform the front end, and the rear plate is in a much better position aesthetically on the rear. Personally I'd take mine in Carmine Red with the no-cost Carrera S silver wheels, and the 7-speed manual.
