£108k for a standard albeit great looking 911, world gone mad surely. Who is buying all these £100k+ cars?!

TX.
Its just a figure to work out the finance isn't it?
Indeed - expect most of these will be bought with £20k deposit and £x per month!

All previous gen GTSs have had great looking wheels, not any more it would seem.
The options list may well provide the better looking wheels !

I agree about the centre lock Turbo S wheels, but the RS Spyder wheels, which would be my choice, (centre lock free though) are a no cost option as are the Carrera S ones.

The configurator is up & does and they are free (very un-Porsche like).

Exactly. Far easier to be a millionaire now than say in 2000 as £1 then is like £1.70 now.

Conversely, a boggo 911 was around £60k then which would be over £10k now... Porsche are actually cheaper now.

And throw cheap credit in to the mix.

This isn't the first time rear seat delete has been offered on the GTS or a light weight pack.

Porsche are never one to miss offering an option or plugging a hole in the market, so I'd be surprised if there was no Carrera T.

Lovely lovely thing, in manual, lightweight interior package on it, add the aero pack, maybe carbon roof and select the shark blue paint. Wheels look fine to me.

Obviously, not as sharp a steer as the new GT3 would be, but looks like one to the uninitiated, more than good enough for most of us and none of the shenanigans required to get it.

£120k with a bit of BOSE for cruising days.

As others have said, 480bhp really isn't needed in one of these, so probably a < 400bhp 992-T for me - if such a thing ever comes out and isn't subject to the new speed limiting regs for type approvals post May '22.

can you not just buy a base 992 and remove the rear seats? is there a lightweight package for the base car?

altenatively just buy a gts and perhaps get a custom remap to make it slower?

Not enough wow for me to trade up from my 991.1 GTS. Rear seat delete seems a little pointless, may as well go for the GT3. Lastly, I'm still not a fan of the solid rear red light or the "four spot" headlights

Well a cursory glance at the classifieds shows a 991 GTS at £90,000 so it is what it is, not like they depreciate a lot.

I’m sure it’ll be a great car, the GTS is usually the sweet spot.

... then spec the other RS Spyder Design wheels which are available, that are more akin to the GTS, problem solved.

Those that are spending £98,500 on a V8 Defender 90? Which is more bonkers?

Insanity I tells ya.

That looks tremendous, especially with the aero package.

This really does it for me as an overall package. I feel the SportDesign front and rear fascias are essential to make the 992 shape work. The extra body colour pieces on the front really transform the front end, and the rear plate is in a much better position aesthetically on the rear. Personally I'd take mine in Carmine Red with the no-cost Carrera S silver wheels, and the 7-speed manual.
