That's a nice looking thing, totally anonymous.

There's a V6 one on eBay as well - sadly it's silver, but otherwise looks pretty good... Although the seller's claim that it's "stunning" is perhaps a reach: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324852527360

Aren't these that thirsty that you may as well go all in and get a fully loaded legend if you want a Honda?

As someone currently in possession of two ex-CdG vehicles, I am now feeling a little queasy.

If only I'd know, I would have had them fumigated before I drove them naked. Can you get pregnant from a car seat?
I know a few people who've gotten pregnant on one so you can't be to careful lol ps don't buy one of those blue light things for gods sake

According to stickleback, these bummed the reputation of Jag to death, which seems a firm bar for acceptance within the barge thread.

I reckon a cheap, working 2.5 or 3.0L 4WD V6 version might make a decent winter snotter with winter tyres on it. Otherwise, bummed.

I've been offered this for £1,500 and will cost £300 to have delivered. I already have genuine BMW brake parts from my Y plate 330i manual I didn't fit, so thats a plus. What do we think?

That was rather a mild response - I'm hoping Macron makes up for this.... wink

I ran a facelift X-Type for four years, same engine as this but auto. It wasn't a bad car but it wasn't a good Jaguar. Almost all of the issues I had with it were diesel specific. It used to lunch EGR valves, too. Turbo went, injectors went, DPF, blah blah.

I loved it, but it dissolved in the end. Looked nice, though:

I wouldn't pay more than £1200 for one now.

i was looking at that thinking it could be a nice thing at the right money. I think I'd want to be less than £1800 into it though given the rusty wing and mention of jacking point rust on the MOT.

If that's a £4,000 car, then

An AWD V6 manual for buttons is perhaps worth a look, but the 2.2d is the worst powertrain in Jaguar's history to be fitted to the worst car in Jaguar's history.
I still remember checking bins for coke cans to make up EGR bypass plates for these for breakdowns, its a trick I actually got from working at a Jaguar dealer because the valve was on 9 month backorder at the time so the procedure was to block them up with a plate and send them off. Quality.

I had a 2.0 Manuel. It was not un economical. You could not really expect much from an engine made in the nineties. It is actually an American model and was built there. It felt rather tired at 150k so got rid for £230 around 5 years ago. Beong advertised as family car with 2 doors and coupé, seriously?

Or, drop the faux pretension and buy a real Mondeo wink

£230 is not far off the deposit I've just put on the black 2.0 auto
