Looks like it's here in Lincoln,

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.2217525,-0.53323...

Three lanes - the middle one changes depending on the time of day/traffic levels. It is very clearly marked well before which direction the lane is active for so no real excuse for getting it wrong.

(never been able to get the hang of inserting hyperlinks so might have to copy and paste it!!)

Yep definitely there in Lincoln, either idiots or the lights were broken, it's so obvious otherwise.

Also, 3:06, not sure how they ended up there, but that roundabout is absolutely not one I'd expect someone there. Totally mad!

There is a white arrow on the road for south bound direction of traffic but not north bound

The traffic coming from that direction wouldn't have an arrow - it relies on the illuminated gantry to show which direction that centre lane runs in. In this case they either ignored it or it was broken.

It's a tidal flow section with the middle lane changing direction according to traffic volumes in each direction, the theory being that it allows for morning rush hour into the city and evening rush hour out. Basically, no one should pass under the red X, like on a motorway with a closed lane.

The Aston Expressway in Birmingham is the same and the Blackwall Tunnel in London used to be, but Ken Livingstone did away with it as he decided it was dangerous...

I had an IAM assessment and I got marked down for dry steering the car (directly performing a 3 point turn out of a parallel parked space) I was told that I was marked down because it wasn’t sympathetic to the track rod ends. My response was to say that track rod ends are £15 from ECP and I could change them in an hour if it came to that. He obviously disagreed, but it’s that particular anal character that advanced drivers have that put me off from getting any further involvement.

When i was on the RR/Bentley driving course at Crewe during the manoeuvrability part we were told we would be marked down on dry steering. Not only does it put unnecessary pressure on the steering system it also scrubs the tyres. It was explained that when doing a 3 point turn at the end of the first part and jusr before you stop, you turn the wheel the other way, ditto when finishing the reversing section. The explanation that it is easier to get the wheels ready for the next part and more of a turn can be had as the wheels are already positioned

At 2:50 it is always going to cause potential problems if a right turn is allowed from the left lane at a roundabout.
Left lane on a roundabout should always be be left turn or straight on only.
