What on earth happened? Foot trapped on accelerator whilst trying to exit the vehicle with handbrake off and engine on in reverse? Bizarre!!

It looks like he got out and put in it reverse instead of park, as you see it move backwards as he is exiting. Then when he tried to get back to it to hit the brake he hit the accelerator and then just got his foot jammed. Scary but clearly someone who should not have been behind the wheel to begin with.

It also looked like he tangled up in the seatbelt as he exited initially.

Not on video, this evening i was crossing the road in a car park on a zebra crossing. A woman approached in a driving the wrong way so I pointed out it was one way. She said ‘what’s it got to do you with are you the police?’ And after a short discussion drove her car into me (very slowly) while i was standing on the crossing. And then we had a very long argument which amounted to:

‘what its got to do with you?!?!?!?!!’
‘Well, when I….’
‘What’s its got to do with yiou?!?!?!?!!’
‘Uh, I am…’

looped 100 times. perhaps the highlight was
‘you drove into me with your car’
‘yeah but it had nothing to do with you where i was driving.’
Of course, who could argue with that as a justification for bashing people out of the way with your car.

Honestly i don’t know why i got into the argument, and why people are so fking mental. Except i do know i suppose, they are stressed out and insecure and in a hurry and that makes it very hard for them to accept criticism in any form. Oh well, great story bro etc.

the sad thing is that people in the UK are in the majority now mindless scum. Breeding should be banned until rules have been put into place to address this.

I know how you feel. Standards certainly have dropped in the past few decades. Now it seems people are trashy and selfish. They no longer do do the right thing because they have standards and self respect

I would never think about parking in a disabled spot and I have no problem with walking 20 metres across a carpark. Yet I got into a confrontation with a perfectly fit guy who parked in a disabled spot because it was the closest to the shop. He spent more time arguing with me than it would have taken him to walk from the right parking space. What’s wrong with people? Why are they so dumbed down?

There is a bloke at our gym who uses a disabled spot for his Lambo every time, no badge, no obvious disabilities other than skipping leg day.

I am finding that more and more people lack self-awareness and specifically the ability to review their own actions or take onboard any form of criticism.

Last year a guy pulled out on me from a junction I was about to turn into causing me to slam my brakes on. He then proceeded to stop his van, get out and yell at me for not letting him out and nearly causing an accident! I had three kids in the back. Absolutely bizarre, entitled behaviour.

I think some of it can be blamed on the Covid Lockdown scare them witless campaigns. I think the people behind the campaigns knew they would cause harm.

Has the compliance shown during Lockdown led the powers that be to be emboldened to further interfere with our freedoms and ability to move aound?

Why are people so 'dumbed down'? Look at how the majority swallowed the Covid Lockdown nonsense.

How are our 'freedoms and ability to move around' being 'further interfered with', specifically?

What a twcensoredt... Unfortunately, it's standard car park behaviour nowadays.

There are far too many who have lost their sense of decency, or never had it in the first place... Probably the latter.

I find the ones with more money or very attractive are the worst. I'm also courteous to women, yes old fashioned etc but open doors, stand aside etc, you get dirty looks and no thanks. That is modern life nowadays full of egocentrics.

It’s probably driven by the number of people perfectly happy to open their door into your car without a care in the world. Unless there’s a queue of disabled people needing that space at the gym no harm. Tbh I don’t think I could own such a car, the parking dings would just set off my ocd…

There are always a fair few disabled spaces in use by folk with disabilities (and badges) there is a chap with a prosthetic leg, couple of folk in wheelchairs etc so its not like some of the places with 20, mostly empty spaces.

The other favorite is parking outside the doors on the double yellows, which are there for a reason, as when there is a large car there, people cant see to cross the road. You see parents with kids going for swimming lessons peering out from behind a parked Defender or similar.

Its weird, I park miles away to avoid door dings, I am going to the gym, seems weird to worry about a short walk when you are going to do an hours exercise or more ?

Expect its the same aholes that leave a wad of sweaty tissue or a plastic bottle on the top of the machine they were at, about ten feet from one of the numerous bins.

I think its actually a burden not being a tt these days.
