There also appeared to be an oncoming vehicle when the camera driver attempted the second overtake.
There was, which must have been a concern to the trucker in case there was a collision. So they caused a collision.

Interesting that this thread seems to be dying a death just when Dashcams Exposed are seemingly pumping out a compilation every couple of days.

The first one, the absolute prick totally deserved it but that's no way for a jobbing driver to behave:

Would love to have known what happened between the pedestrian and Merc driver at 7:36 after the camera car passed, he did NOT look happy! The behaviour of the Merc driver didn't look like they were planning to get out and profusely apologise either...

It does but more quantity means lower quality. People just get bored of idiot DCWs beeping anyone who makes a tiny error of judgment and watch fewer videos as a result. These videos started off as crash videos but quickly ran out of content and became minor driving error videos. Most are very poor (the videos) these days.
Yep.

Merc driver deserves the book throwing at him. (As well as the can)

I can forgive a lot of 'minor misdemeanours' on the roads (on the grounds that people DO make mistakes), but running a red light at a pedestrian crossing is pretty much top of the "thou shalt not...ever!" list as far as I'm concerned.

Take their keys, and drop them down a drain / throw them a long way away...because that tt does NOT deserve to be in charge of a motor vehicle.

8:29 Moaning about the distance of the car behind him, and hand held filming whilst driving.

Are you referring to the lorry driver and ranger Rover clip?, looks the lorry driver isn't hand held filming but is wearing a pair of RayBan meta smart sunglasses

One of the dashcammers nailed every clip with a single comment.
"Jesus fking christ!"

I've often thought that another pair of eyes in the back of my head would come in handy but most of these don't appear to have any up front!

Special mention for the skate boarder at 8:05. I hope he got off lightly.

This clip, so the ray bans have built in video?

Yes they have video facility built in, if you watch the footage again the camera follows where he is looking, a couple of my friends have them for incar footage and it takes a bit of getting used too when watching playback from their perspective

A client showed me his Rayban Meta glasses - I’ve got to say they’re impressive bits of kit, amazing video and speakers sound great too. They seem surprisingly cheap for what you get.

My bet is that the trucker pulled out of the truckstop, which is just prior to where the dashcam footage starts, in front of the knobber and then antagonised the situation by sticking to the 30 limit through the industrial estate.

Another 30-60 seconds of footage at the beginning would reveal all.
I'm surprised at that comment - there's no way a 40 tonner should be speeding though an industrial estate.
