Is the £99 pay at pump limit going up any time soon?

I think it depends on the card provider, mine will let me do £120 at Costco, the OH's only £99 at the same pump (different provider), so it's either double fill if she is on her own or I use mine and we transfer the money.

If they're going to raise the £99 limit, are they going to pre-authorise more when using your card?
A £99 earmark for 3 days is annoying if you're only spending half that..

I used tesco this morning (shrewsbury) and that stopped at £99

Filled up yesterday new limit £120 at Tesco so I managed to actually fill the tank for once ! This was with Mastercard, maybe Visa have a lower limit ?

My visa debit allowed £120 at Tesco the other day, so I guess it takes a while to roll out everywhere.

Tescos only take £1 off you. I have friends living on week to week money. They will fill their car up for £1 on the friday knowing they are paid monday when the real amount of money comes out.
