New Range Rover proves you can have a design that appeals to those in China as well as those in the Home Counties. This is controversial design just for controversy sake, never mind from the front, in profile form it has the look of a deeply uncool MPV. Not sure how many wealthy clients in the West want to look like they're driving a family bus.

Utter state of it. I’d be embarrassed getting into that in a car park.

I hope they don’t sell any. I hope it flops harder than anything that’s ever been made, so that they disappear and BMW stop making anything of this sthousery.

No Style

Ugly

Over priced

Why would you buy, unless you want to get noticed?

I quite like it - sorry smile

Well out of my league financially but couldnt resist looking at GFV at 4y PCP - £42500

Which makes it somewhat spendy even running through your (powerful) company

Even ignoring the overall design language in this, I don’t understand the obsession with adding screen real estate to the interior of a car, for those of us who work on a screen all day and also have a smart phone, the last thing I want is yet another collection screens in my transport.

Sat Nav I get, but it’s getting out of hand, the teslas, the mercs, just stop it right now!

I can see why self being a driver of old cars until I’m no longer allowed to, then I’ll probably not have one

It looks like one of those awful aftermarket "styling" house's has got hold of it and made it more footballer focused rather than an oem design. Not even sure what to call the steering device, wheel does not seem appropriate.

It will sell well.
i think it will too. Apparently the waiting list is already pretty long.

Because its cheap and allows for greater configurability. Also car makers are in the misguided belief that buyers think it is cool & desirable to have a car full of screens. There's a reason why Bugatti & Rolls-Royce limit screen real estate as there is nothing premium or desirable about them as well as the fact they will date interiors very quickly a few years from now.

I do too. Plus it is making me feel like a proper pauper as well.

I can't ever see me being able to afford an electric car at this rate. £100k! yikes

Like seemingly everyone else, I think that is absolutely hideous. Not just "that's not a nice looking car" but a genuine "that's truly ugly".

Well it's not really a looker is it. I don't find the side and rear too bad, but that front... I don't get the grille that isn't a grille, there doesn't appear to be any openings in it, just a painted on pattern. confused The car would surely look so much better if they just removed it entirely, who would miss it?

The 380 mile range seems impressive for the power and shear weight of the vehicle. It still seems somewhat odd to me to see a 2.5+ tonne SUV with an all electric powertrain but I will get used to it I guess. Surely the future development in EV's is to try and remove weight from them rather than improve battery technology?

There seems to be a trend for these very fussy wheel designs in recent years, this car has a set that fit that description. I don't hate them but just not a fan.

I don't dislike the interior, but it has a clean look that seems to be bordering on bland for me in a car of this price. Some interesting details here and there though. I never did like these odd shape steering wheels, call me old fashioned but I prefer it to be circle shaped.

The boot space looks surprising compact for a car of this size, it doesn't look any bigger than that is my mk2 Focus.
